That’s exactly what they are doing. If it’s not musk or wood scents they’ll water down the stuff that could smell good. This is why they’ll give us partial collection because they don’t want to spend money smh
I smelled Warm Vanilla Sugar in store not that long ago, and it smelled completely different from what I had remembered. So sad since WVS was my first love from B&BW.

I’m very disappointed that they changed Love, rose vanilla. I wore nothing but that scent for years. And I got.compliments all the time. They stopped making it for several months then brought it back but it’s different. They added chocolate to it that wrecked it . People are really upset it’s not the same. I have been paying a lot more on eBay to get the original. So now I switched to Brightest bloom. And I may love it even more. But I wish they would leave well enough alone!
I have the rose n vanilla body oil n it smells the same as the original! The one from last year was called Rose & Cocao and that one I did not like. But I'm happy to say the made the Rose n vanilla back to the original stuff❤
I love JCP, seems like they are doing that with all the scents. Like in the winter they had hit and miss and much weaker in Vanilla Bean Noel. Just cutting down on everything like all other companies. This is why I’m using up my great stash and won’t purchase until they get themselves together.

To me, the Japanese Cherry Blossom is slightly different on the top notes. The scent notes are identical if you read them on each bottle. I’m not sure why they changed it because it’s been a top seller for nearly 20 years. Like the saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Lol I agree with you, I think they changed up the balance of the Asian pear which is why it smells a little different.
Hi Bonnie! I did pick up Dahlia in the new packaging. To me, it's slightly different from the Beveled version I have. The Beveled version I have is slightly stronger in my opinion. I do not have the older version. I often ignore JCB as I never liked JCB due to the heavy powder note. It always smelled like moth balls to me. I even totally ignored JCB even during the last FFM sale in store. It's never been sweet enough for me. However, I keep smelling JCB in store as of late in the newer packaging and I have to agree the formula has been changed. I'm actually slightly liking JCB in the new packaging. I'm still on the fence on it though. I may pick it up which is shocking as it's been YEARS since I've had JCB in my collection.
Now I am going to have to give Dahlia a second try. Because I didn’t like it initially and returned my Dahlia when it was released a few years ago. Curious to see if I’ll like it now. Thanks for the comparison video!
This makes me so sad. I love the original versions of both scents, and I was so disappointed when I got the new version of Dahlia. I loved how the tonka bean would compliment the floral notes (on the dry down) and it feels like that was really missing in the new version. Product consistency definitely has been an issue with BBW. I get nostalgic for older scents but who knows what interpretation of the original BBW will release.
The OG Dahlia and Fall in Bloom packaging was just gorgeous! I’m so glad they repackaged Dahlia from the ugly tufted Christmas packaging. I hated that packaging! The new one is better but still not as pretty as the OG
I'm hoping that since they repackaged JCP, they'll have the products in the old packaging for 75% off at SAS. I want to stock up on shower gel for my mom. I don't mind it, I'm using up a lotion from 2020 now, but it's not my favorite like it is hers.

Unrelated, I think I finally found my signature scent, but wouldn't you know it was seasonal/only came in mini: Daffodil Daydreams 😆Any suggestions? I think I lean towards a little fruity, not big on floral, but light sometimes is okay, don't like overly sweet. Citrus scents DO NOT mix with my body chemistry, lol. I get headaches if something is too strong/doesn't agree with me. I wish they'd make Cozy Vanilla Almond in body! The foaming hand soap smells so good on me, lasts, makes me feel sexy, lol.
Bath & Body Works shouldn't change their formulas and then keep the same name. If they wanna change something, then it's a completely different scent now and should be named something else. Japanese Cherry Blossom has been an all-time favorite of mine too, for many years. I really hate to hear that they changed it.
I agree that Strawberry Pound Cake was the best for the first few years at least. It's not stable at all more recently. I got a horrendous batch back in August or September and they clearly changed the formula in an attempt to make it more strawberry. The cake scent fades stupidly quick and the strawberry is now a ridiculously overdone chemical smell and they've completely ruined it. I used to love Strawbery Pound Cake, I liked it sparingly but I enjoyed it. Now I just don't enjoy it like I did, even when trying to use my old bottles, they ruined the scent and now my nose just doesn't enjoy it the same anymore. I haven't tried it this year though since they repackaged it again, but now I just don't really enjoy it, so my nose probably can't be trusted on that one anymore thanks to the previous packaging ruining it.
Love the Frasier shirt Bonnie. It really pisses me off how BBW (and other companies) continually change their products for the worse. I wish there was some way to ban that lol.
4:06 so far we love the Apple shampoo and conditioner and champagne toast. The at the beach just smells bizarre and I wouldn't even try some of the other ones except the new ones when I see them. I wish they would do clean sense for laundry and Hair Care like water, it boggles my mind that they don't have fresh sheets or laundry day as a laundry detergent scent LOL
I like the new repackaged Butterfly better than the old one. The old one smelled a lil bit funny in me and this one smells soooo good on me. I get more Iris in the new one and it smells a little bit stronger to me.
Back in 2017 I bought a Japanese Cherry Blossum body cream from a yard sale, it was old. I loved it. When I ran out, years later I ordered a new one from online. This was after they then had changed the formula. The new JCB was NOT the same. I have noticed this weird almost BO note in the JCB. I don't notice the BO note in the FFM, but defiantly in the BC, Shampoo and Conditioner. Obviously ever bodies nose is different, but I don't care for the change in formula. Anyone else smell what I'm talking about?!
Smelled the new JCB in-store & yes it most definitely has changed. However it's very likeable & for the ppl that don't like the original, they could very well like this new version. I'ma use a reward myself to get 1 of the bcare forms bcuz I do like it, tfs.

I have never liked JCB, but I'm wondering, sadly, if they're using less expensive ingredients,b/c the FFM don't even last 2 hrs anymore. I wish they would make more mini perfumes in a few more scents,that we really could enjoy on the go. $16 for body wash that you literally just use like soap is getting a bit much, imo. The *best mistake* we ever made, was putting a foaming hand soap in the shower,🤭, after they were on sale at 2.95😅!A🧴🧽🫧 Loofah drlight! If Bbw FFM are getting stronger with more staying power, than that's a bonus!still doesn't justify $20.95 SCRUBS😂- but, at least I'd understand why,)

I just sprayed both this year and last iced lemon pound cake and they smell different. I like the new better. I also like the new JCP.

They had vanilla almond bcare around 2017ish/2018ish.

Into the night has changed it doesn't smell the same. 😔 And warm vanilla sugar changed a lot to it doesn't smell the same.
