Nice I just got some Oracle triple fog lights and was wondering if it mattered what switch I hook it up to being they only draw 3.6A. So any switch 3-6 would be ideal. I'll probably go with number 6 since it's my first aux switch accessory I figure start on the end instead of in the middle. I think I will eventually get some ditch lights and some Raptor lights. Those will probably go on switches 5 and 4. Not rushing into getting anymore auxiliary lights for a while as they are expensive af lol. But will have fun making upgrades over the years.
So if you ordered the ss3 ditch lights that are backlight and you are using the OEM Aux switches do you connect the yellow wire to one Aux switch wire and the blue to a separate Aux switch wire?
I bought a combo SS3, the harness for the oem switch it came with has 2 pre crimped wires. Can I cut them and solder both to a single line of my auxiliary line or do I really have to use 2 switches

Thank you for the helpful feedback! We've never had an issue with using butt connectors in the engine bay when properly secured. We use them on our lighting setups as well!
@@swooshdave Many other industry-leading lighting brands on the market recommend using butt connectors for this application as well. It is much easier and safer to include this as an alternative to soldering for those who do no know how to do so. Great Video! I used this to install my SS3 lights. I used the green and brown wire but my light control is on Aux 2. I saw in the owners manual display on the video that the green and brown wire was for Aux 2. I believe in the video you are using Aux 3 which shows as violet and green. What are your thoughts?

@@diodedynamics Ford still has my 22 2 Dr. Back Diamond that I ordered in 2021. It' been waiting for shipping since April 21. I was looking for how the wires got from the outside to the inside. Hoping Ford provided access, I now know they didn't and have to drill a hole to accomplish that.
@@pat36a No holes will need to be drilled, and no wires will need to be ran inside of the cab if you have a Bronco with Accessory Ready mounting locations.
