A Welch-like leader prunes everything to make a bonsai tree from a business that work great for exactly where it is at but doesn't have the leaves and branches to survive if its conditions change and it has to grow somewhere else, and tech is a constant change business.

You cut 15% of your jobs in tech when you are completely out of ideas and just trying to survive as the phone has not only stopped ringing, but you can't give your product away which happens in a Semi-Conductor bust cycle which apparently the only company in that space is Intel. Their products they are trying to sell are equal to trying to start a business selling typewriters, encyclopedias, and film cameras in 2024, with the sales to prove it.
First of all they cut 15000 jobs, not 15% of jobs. Secondly, during the last 1 year, all big high tech companies cut similar amount of jobs: Meta, Google, Microsoft, Tesla...

@MaryLawson874 well the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.

The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg.
