I helped playtest the Outer Rim expansion. We asked why the expansion didn’t include stuff from the Mandalorian. They said that the reason why is because the game elements represent the timeframe between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Whether that would change in the future was, at least at that time, not the plan.

Mr Vasel, thank you for using the word enormity correctly. You get a lot of (justifiable and hilarious) grief for your fun with language. But you used this word, intentionally or not, correctly, and I wept with joy when I heard that. Thank you.
Great show guys! Always a pleasure to watch. And some friendly feedback: when a game is being explained, it would be much appreciated not to switch to the game cover too quickly. I find it easier to understand the explanation with the picture of the game on screen.
I am from the UK, and probably my two most watched categories of videos on youtube over my lifetime are Dice Tower top 10s and Would I Lie To You clips. Love that Tom has been watching the latter! Worlds colliding
As a resident of Rochester, NY, Millennium Games is an incredible game store-But I would not be impressed if I drove 1,500 miles to see it. Would love to see the gang if you do come though!
These all have been great so far, and as usual, super fun. I also absolutely love that you reached out to different people to contribute to the number announcement. Great idea!
Nothing Personal is an amazing game Tom! We have been playing it for years, now have upgraded to the revised edition and have a blast still. We will be playing it for my 30th birthday in a couple of weeks!
1:23:41 Many if not most (young) people in the nordic countries are straight up fluent in English actually! We have a lot of media in English, often untranslated (or with movies/TV, they might have subtitles, but definitely won't be dubbed unless it's aimed at kids) - and of course we spend a lot of time on the English-speaking part of the internet. What's still very common is having a pretty severe accent, since you're constantly reading, writing, hearing English but not necessarily speaking it...
1:11:50 I think that was my copy of Tawantinsuyu: The Inca Empire at that game day. The game fricking ruled! And not overwhelming in rules weight in my opinion.
My 70-61 70. Dice Forge 69. Stone Age 68. Wayfinders 67. Chronicles of Crime 66. Seafall 65. Raiders of the North Sea 64. Maglev Metro 63. Architects of the West Kingdom 62. Downforce 61. La Granja
Domaine is one of those games I wished I had picked up. I saw a copy in my local store about 5 years ago and got it mixed up with dominion as i rush out the door and when I realized my mistake and went back a few days later it was gone.
I had Domaine in the collection for years. I love it. However, I couldn’t table it often since it was too mean for most of the other players in our game group. So, I culled it a couple of years ago.
Someone said it in chat but that was the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Disneyland's was the first, so it's the smallest. It's small and wide, the rest are all skinnier and taller.
Tom, I'm sorry, the art in Cyberion is highly stylized and unique. It may not work for you, but myself and many others find it really appealing. Also, you said the art in Bohnanza was "cool", soooooo... Heheh!
On the #66 intro with Chris Zephro (38:37), Tom remarks "Did you notice all the Arkham Horror stuff behind him?" There is actually no Arkham Horror in that clip, it's all Star Wars Legion and Imperial Assault packs.
Mike's reaction shows how criminally underrated Rajas of the Ganges is. Not as good as Snap Sticks or whatever it was called, apparently. Rajas is a straight up 10/10 game. Should be BGG top 100. Easily.
I disagree that people are hating on Flamecraft because of other people liking it. It's a pretty light game that is fine. I really enjoyed my first few plays but after a few plays it just gets pretty boring.
Speaking of Stefan Feld... Too bad you guys completely ignored Marrakesh on the channel. I know it's probably too expensive (lots of other games are) and it's not by your favorite publisher, but it's about the game and that is really good and deserves better!
@@jl3612 well my top, lets say, 10, does not really align with "the people" understood as leslts say BGG and such. But Zee's fricked up taste.... apart from his hatred for the masterliece thst Treasure Island is, he is really a perfect person xddd.
You're so wrong about It's a wonderful world. :-) As If Ancient Knowledge just replaces It ... check the reviews on BGG how people generally think about It. Add in the arch of ratings over the next 4 years and AK drops to something like a 6. I'd even prefer IAWW over 7 wonders 99 out of 100 times. It's fine you guys don't like It of course ... just, don't discard It so easily If It's on the people's list 🙂
Agree that art is subjective, but it’s ok to say you don’t like the art, and when more people don’t like it than do, you could argue it’s objectively not good.
It is reductive to say if you don’t like Flamecraft it is because it is popular. I culled my copy after a few games. It is fine. But it is overproduced, fiddly, prone to AP, and overstays its welxome for a light game. I’d give it a 6.8. I didn’t cull it because it is popular. That is silly. I culled it because I have far better games for the same weight and player count. YMMV
For Mansion Of Madness: I actually prefer the first edition. Yes it takes longer to set up, but a skilled Keeper can control the game far better than the app can every time.
20:00 Sadly with what Disney has done to this franchise means I will never give them a single cent ever again. I play Firefly instead. A lot longer and less tight, but very likeable 3 dimensional characters and a much more interesting and fleshed out uni 'Verse

Yes. Please come to Rochester!! Millennium Games is so worth a visit!
Happy to see Rattus, Mike! I never see anyone mention that game, one of my favorites and one that got me into the hobby years ago.
These all have been great so far, and as usual, super fun. I also absolutely love that you reached out to different people to contribute to the number announcement. Great idea!

"Its' a Wonderful World" is a WONDERFUL game!
The people should troll the vote sometime and put Vicious Fishes as #1.

I backed today. Thanks for years of great content.

2:27 I swear, Mike's "You Got Mail" is almost impeccable to the legit one!
I'm one of the few people who loves champions of midgard without the expansions
I am so excited Munchkins got brought up. I hope that is in your guys' top 100. Munchkins is my favorite game.
Awesome to see Millennium Games on here. Fantastic place and the even better with their new huge store!

Domaine is one of those games I wished I had picked up. I saw a copy in my local store about 5 years ago and got it mixed up with dominion as i rush out the door and when I realized my mistake and went back a few days later it was gone.

I'm a little sad you didn't have Steve from The Secret Cabal Gaming Podcast do 69.
Era.
He might have even took the opportunity to sprinkle in one of his famous family friendly jokes😉
Very very nice to see more trick-taking!! >:)
Did you know that we're in a trick-taking renaissance?
@3:49 Nailed it Tom! 😂 And no Mike, there's nothing filthy about bitterballen. Unless the deepfryer is too cold or you leave them in too long...

I don’t even like the Oniverse games I’ve played - but I love the art in them. They really stand out in a good way
Tom just wants Mike to stop making sance.
The sance must flow
On the #66 intro with Chris Zephro (38:37), Tom remarks "Did you notice all the Arkham Horror stuff behind him?"
There is actually no Arkham Horror in that clip, it's all Star Wars Legion and Imperial Assault packs.
lol I thought so! I noticed all the Star Wars boxes 😂
Thank you guys!
It's Disneyworld. The castles are different, but the lines are just as long. :)
See the new Disney Robin Hood: Sheriff of Nottingham?
The Mandalorian is about 18 when Outer Rim takes place. He ain't gonna show up.
I think a kickstarter goal should be a video of Tom having to pronounce Teotihuacan
Rajas is so good the board is also really good looking the colors pop love it
Just got Twinkle Starship a couple weeks ago! What other Japanese card games are going to show up on Mike's list?
I would like Flamecraft, but sometimes it ends so quickly, like even before you can do anything with the new locations. Am I playing something wrong?
I've looked at buying skulk hollow once or twice but doesn't seem like it has enough variability to stay interesting.
Mike's reaction shows how criminally underrated Rajas of the Ganges is. Not as good as Snap Sticks or whatever it was called, apparently.
Rajas is a straight up 10/10 game. Should be BGG top 100. Easily.
Tom, Geroge Lucas may have ruined sand for you but Disney Ruined Star Wars for Everyone.
great as always
Tokaido Collection 🌟 Mike is Board Game Ambassador of Asia 😊
The Blob is not a Universal monster for two reasons. First ii is not from Universal and second it's about 20 years too late
I like Tawantinsuyu. It’s a cool worker placement game. Wallenstein is great fun too.
I hear "Bangor, Maine" and I get goosebumps, and creepy feelings 😅
Someone should tell Zee, We don't talk about Bruno.....
... No no no
I would have so backed the new Colosseum game but I managed to find a DOW copy ... but haven't played it yet!
1:02:27 yes, they are.
I'm lying here post hernia-repair and you guys keep making me laugh. You'll be hearing from my lawyers! 😆😖
Stellar Conquest uses rubber bands if I remember correctly...no rulers required!
Please make the top 10games where starting turns really matter
Domaine was good and simple, but I got Lowenherz instead because I like the more strategic cardplay and negotiation more.
Can anyone provide a link to the Stellar Conflict app that Tom was talking about? I have SC and has no idea there was an app for it.
Canonically Mandalorian is impossible to add so it would never happen.
Why not?
Zee's #68 makes me think of Marlon Brando in Streetcar Named Desire.
its Disney World not Land, you can tell by the size/color of the castle.
I disagree that people are hating on Flamecraft because of other people liking it. It's a pretty light game that is fine. I really enjoyed my first few plays but after a few plays it just gets pretty boring.
Azul Sintra for the win! Adore OG Azul but Sintra is my favourite ❤
Number 62 magical athlete? Why not monster Derby? Same but better!
Because it's not better. Not even close! :)
Best Azul - Summer Pavilion

Nothing Personal is a GREAT game!
Sometimes I dream of playing a game of Nothing Personal with Tom.
Tom likes to figure out whether people have told the truth or lies, but he doesn't like social deduction games?
Wallen 'stine' not Wallen 'steen'. (and with a V instead of a W to be more precise).

Flamecraft is a great game. It's a great introduction to combos in games.
It is reductive to say if you don’t like Flamecraft it is because it is popular. I culled my copy after a few games. It is fine.
