I love listening to that clock in the background. I have a glorious mantel clock that I love to be my background noise when I stitch. Wonderful stitching.
Me too
Thanks Erica, they can be very restful, can’t they? 🌸
I love the old red bow under the flowers 💐
Thanks, I do too, but I think they’re just too delicate for the front cover 🌺
This piece looked awesome as the cover! The yellow peeking out the side was perfect too.😊
Thanks Robin, I think I like that too! 🌼
Adorable, Sally! It gives me the idea of an entrance to your garden! TFS ❤
Thanks so much Giusi 🌸

So pretty Sally.

Hi Sally. Love your idea of using spool papers. You could try steaming them off.
Thanks so much Terry - I’m going to try it 🌼
I love your page!!!
Thanks so much Sheila 🌸🌼🌸
Love your work!
Thanks so much 🌸
Your page is lovely 💕
Thanks so much Mona 🌸
This page is so beautiful! Love the flower at the top! I am thinking of trying to do one. As a newy, I find it challenging .
Thanks so much Elizabeth, you should try it, it’s not as daunting or difficult as it might seem - just follow the lines & colours that are already there at first and then you can start adding more stitches - good luck 🌸
It is beautiful 😍
Thanks so much Jan 🌸
👍🧡
Fantastic 😍
Thanks so much Vanessa 🌸
So lovely!….You could photocopy the spool labels and then cut them out…
Thanks Jessica - that’s a good idea 😊
Hi Sally, I wasn’t going to do this project but your ideas have inspired me to try it….. thank you 🥰
Hi Deb, oh have a go, it’s so enjoyable - thanks Sally 🌸
I’ve done it and you were right it’s enjoyable… 💕
@@user-du6qv7cl5c your piece is fab, saw it over on fb 🌸
Re the reel labels, you might want to try gently warming the adhesive eg with a hairdryer, that might melt the glue and allow them to peel off. It works for many modern labels. Depends on the type of glue though. Good luck and thank you for the lovely videos!
Thanks so much June - I shall try that 🌸
Would love to see your working space, and storage areas…..
Thanks Susan, I keep thinking I’ll do a quick tour of my room - it’s an absolute mess at the moment as I’ve got loads of projects on the go, plus stock for the shop. As soon as I’ve sorted myself out I may do a video 🌸
Thanks for showing us options of printing images on material - Im going to have a go but I am still trying to think how to actually do it - I like the simple idea of double sided tape. I will try this first but with thinner fabric.
Thanks very much Merridith, let me know how you get on 🌸
Use a hairdryer to loosen sticky labels❤
Thanks Gail, I shall give it a go 🌸
Steam the label with a kettle.
Oh that’s a good idea - thanks Lucy 🌸
Love your creative page. Any suggestions where to order scraps of old fabric edges, embroidered flowers and decorations etc? I live on a island in the Bahamas - no fabric crafters here 😥
Thanks so much Paula, I would have a look at eBay, you can usually find bits on there for a reasonable price - search “vintage linen” - good luck in your search 🌸
Did you decide against the sticky tape edges for your label? It’s looking good 😊
I had to change them for something different 🌸
