- My Girlfriend did a whole bunch of re-arranging and designing at our beach home here in Cateel, Davao Oriental.
This is just another day living the Province life in the Philippines. We cook some beef tapa, I go for a little shopping bike ride, Kumar continues to love the animals, and our beach home and land continues to come together. Life is very relaxed here in Mindanao. It is always fun watching things come together, and taking moments to appreciate the beach here in Cateel, Davao Oriental.
What do you think of her beach home deck design? I think it is awesome!
We bought the chairs and table from Solis Crafts and Local Native Products in Tagum City!

I love sungka! I used to play that with sigay sea shells but if you don’t have it you can use white pebbles. Therine has done an excellent job decorating your balcony, beautiful and cosy! Coastal living is something I can never change. Have a lovely day everyone!😊

Those bamboo speakers are just awesome and will get one of those for myself at some point. Therine does have 'the eye' for interior design. I love to see cooking on your vlogs Kulas! I also make unleavened flatbread sometimes and also use a bottle as a roller for the bread dough. There is something special about making bread. People have been doing it for thousands of years. The only thing more special is making beer, but that takes a lot longer!

Yeah, one problem living along sea shores are metals are vulnerable to get rusted & worn out in the long run like door hinges, knobs, or any metals around the house because of the sea breeze and moisture of salt from sea water.
Since you've mentioned Jandi... I saw him in Kumander Daot vlog yesterday. And He's staying in his hometown Malaybalay.🤩When is he coming back with you?????
Lovely pad Kyle. Absolutely love it. Small, simple but elegant with the native touches but not overly garish. Hoping to make my own A frame cabin in the near future upon retirement and head back to my mother's hometown of Guimaras.

Try using baking soda mixed with sugar about 1 tbsp each. Place in their path. It works for us.

Tapa is jerky. I love and missed to eat a deer jerky once made by my long lost from Montana USA.
We called it in Saipan Chunka too. You can use marbel or small shells.
Therine should venture into interior designing with Filipino decors as her signature
That's the problem in the Philippines. 💯 Humidity plus the sea breeze destroys electric equipments, and other things amihan or not. One of the way to avoid damages is to put them back inside close cupboards. Well dried and cleaned.

I sure hope so, since I was suspecting that the engineers in charge of the construction is taking advantage and are delaying the finish of it. If it is done, I am sorry to say that the construction quality is not in par of what I was expecting, to be honest. Hope everything is well.

You talk about dogs, yeah you are right. when a territorial dog come at me. I always act tough, widen my arms with closed fist and speak higher tone. Showing I am bigger and the alpha. And look at the dog directly. It works for me. If the dog still barks and kinda approach me slowly. I bend down as if picking a stone and the dog will run away.
