Tysm! I am very insecure about making mistakes when I could've done this, done that.. kinda and also not rly a perfectionist, but I'm scared, now I'm not really! Thank you again haha
The only way to learn is by doing. It takes a long time to find your own style as well. Try not to think where someone else would put it, just put it where you think it looks good. 🥰✨
Practice DOES make perfect! Great inspiration and advice. I love hearing about your creative process and how you make your art come to life. Beautiful spread as always! ❤
Go for it! I really like the depth it adds! I got the inspiration from Journal Bean over on instagram. She isn't very active anymore, but she did great collages :)
Lordy, u r the journal/collage Queen! I looked at your log of videos and did not even know where to start. Not surprised you have so many fans. u have a new one now! I have been searching utube for vids that deal with the actual gluing process. Have you specifically covered this somewhere? Also I have been using either matte or gloss medium to glue and it is costing the earth. But lots of people say pva is not archival and will yellow with time. Which leaves me as the ultimate amateur unsure what to do. I am doing a personal 365 collage challenge this year. I am somewhere in the 280's - so doing well. Would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction video wise. Thanks in advance and best, R
What a lovely comment to see! Thank you so much for watching!! I too have been in my head before overthinking so much that kept procrastinated actually starting. I honestly just use a school glue stick. I like the purple one that dries clear. I hate the glue stick that takes 5 minutes to dry and you can move it around before fully drying. That one drives me crazy, not all edges stick down properly - if that makes sense. So I prefer the Elmer’s purple glue stick. I don’t out any type of glue over my collages. Honestly I never thought about it - but I have seen some RUclipsrs will put clear tape over their entire spread. I don’t like that either - it would drive me crazy if I couldn’t out the tape on flat. But mainly, I don’t want to worry so much of what the spread will look like in 10 years because I am enjoying doing them now. And aging is beautiful, proving it lived a good life 😜 remember vintage these days is highly sought out LOL.
Brianna collins, she doesn’t have very many videos here on RUclips but the videos she does have about journaling are so good! She has inspired me a lot!
Do you have any tips or tricks for fellow creatives to share?! 🥰
Very inspiring.thank you ☺️
So glad! Thanks for watching!!

The shape puncher is such a good idea! I didn't even know that those were a thing!
They can get expensive! I only buy them when they are on sale or when I have a 40%-50% of coupon at michaels 😜
I love this! Thanks for sharing with us.

Beautiful... I use collage in my journal for each page. I find it SO therapeutic to cut and glue xxx

I like the shadowing you did! 😁 I think I will be attempting that the next time I work on my journal.
