you’re 100% right that being the military just can offer you so much, stability, being apart of something bigger, travel, and meet such a big variety of people, that’s just some off the dome. yeah i didn’t necessarily WANT to live in virginia, but i joined with the intention of leaving home so it’s been a blessing.

Damn fonz. I just enlisted into the marines. I just had a poolie function yesterday. This for sure pushes me harder because what you have, I want all of it, even more. I want to be better than you. Not in a cocky ignorant way but inspired by you and wanting more and more for me and my family.

What was your rate before becoming a yeoman?
He was a “non-rate” out of boot camp which means you don’t have a rate and work under either the deck department with the boat drivers where you do cosmetic maintenance and other type of projects or you work under the engineers where you help out on all the mechanical work
