Nice and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you
Another good vlog, Kevin. Yup, those Horse flys add meaning to the experience of getting bitten by an insect. Stay cool.👍👍
Can't wait for winter lol
Another good vlog, l have been on the seashore for two days and like you I also have fun with the plovers and other bird's. Nice pics. We also have some mean flys as well.
Those flies can be nasty. Have fun!
Really spectacular shots of the plovers man, and great talking point, when were out in nature, and in public things are going to happen. If its your time for a great shot it will happen, cant blame anybody. Nice work out there!
Thanks Tim. Yeah I totally understand the frustration because we ALL as photographers would love the area we are in all to ourselves. Lol. And to be fair it's nice when it happens. However, it's just bad taste and poor ethics to throw hate at the general public for just being there like we are. Now anyone or another photographer purposely getting Infront of your camera or shot ...yeah that's fair game lol. But that's very rare. We have more of a chance of just being around the general public that just seems unconcerned about us taking photos. And to be honest.......we shouldn't expect them to care.
Hi Kevin!! I tried macro photography only with static subjects in the early morning, when they were still sleeping, but always with a telephoto lens, because I haven't got a macro lens, but recently I was thinking about to catch a macro lens, maybe second hand, just to not spend so much money (bad moment for money now!!! 😅) or keep going using the extension tube, but it's much more difficult to focus something, mostly on the flight!!!
Macro is definitely interesting
Another great video! Question you said Loon it looked like a cormorant.? You said it best "we're on their land". I think we all need to be reminded about that from time to time.
You are correct it was a coromant. I have a horrible track record of wildlife identification. I had one job 😂
@@KevinNordstrom 🤣 I'm the same way lol. I really enjoy your videos thanks for sharing.
Hi Kevin!! It would be nice to have these places to ourselves but it if another photographer turns up I try to strike up a conversation because I might learn something. Keep up the good work.
Totally agree. Thanks barry
Another great video, Kevin. Thank you. I too enjoy macro photography. I can't say for sure if the butterflies you saw flying around were monarchs, but the still shot you showed is a Painted Lady. Still a beautiful butterfly and a great find.
I agree with you on others being in areas on public land. It can be frustrating and they have as much right to be there as we do. I do draw the line somewhat if I am at a location and another photographer shows up and sets up right in front of me. That is rude and bad form and I will say something. Common courtesy should be practiced by all of us.
Keep up the good work! 👍🏼
Thank you for the correction Deb. I'll have to study up on butterflies as I dabble into macro. I got a lot to learn. Always fun out there. Yes it can be very frustrating in those situations thankfully most photographers are kind in my experience. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Hope you get an opportunity to explore a new trail. Happy Shooting friends!
