Dan, Every technique, tool, and product I have purchased has been based on your recommendation. That being said, I have several different scents of beard oil from a dozen different beard companies. I love all the scents that I have. And all of them Feel good in beard. But without question… The beard oils from The Bearded Mack style my beard the absolute best, bar none! Love this oil!!!!
I was bummed when I found out about Whiskey N Hardtack as I was late to the party and they instantly became one of my favorites. Really loved the Sarsaparilla and Command's Corner. Glad to at least see they have the Corner Mack. Haven't tried Bearded Mack yet, so I guess it works out. thankx for the video

Though I care far more about feel-in-beard than scent, Roaring 20s is my favorite beard-oil scent ever. I have a bottle of the old blend in my fridge. I hope the new one smells just as great. Tropical Storm is also brilliant. I've tried all of their old scents and liked all save for one (Highlander, which they've abandoned). Despite my concerns regarding the change in carrier blend, I'm definitely looking forward to the new scents. Bearded Mack nails it out of the park with scents. Thanks for the video Sam and Dan C.

I still have one unopened WnH Sleepwalker so I'll have to order this from Bearded Mack and see how they compare. I assume the seasonal scent you mentioned dropping on 10/10 is going to be Ice Breaker? I too am obsessed with that scent. One last scent I am hoping they may drop seasonally is a scent WnH did at the holidays last year called Santa's Beard. It was a blend of peppermint and chocolate and I was literally addicted to it last year. Got it as a freebie after I ordered a year long supply of Ice Breaker and was disappointed when I couldn't find it late January.
Great video. Ordered some Bearded Mack products the other day after the live stream. Got oil, balm, and butter in the Gamblin' Mack scent. LOVE IT!! It's such a unique scent profile. Wasn't so hot on it at first, but in beard it is lovely! And the scent lasts so long.
Had the corner mack in yesterday. It’s not as strong as WnH command mack but it’s very similar and smells great. Feel in beard is amazing and beard styled so well when I used butter and oil.
My last tried beard companies and my 2 favorites. Whiskey and mack are pretty much the only thingd I use anymore except beard octane and old chesapeake wash and conditioner

I just received ravager, roaring 20’s, and gamblin Mack. I am not disappointed. The scents are light to medium in strength for the 3 I have. Love the blend! Also used the new natural butter, it’s so good! I don’t feel like I need to wash it out in the morning… there are some I will miss, but I am excited to see what’s next. I am also looking forward to trying the new solid wash I have, but I still have one left from WnHT! Great wash!
This is really cool! I learned about Whiskey N Hardtack mostly from your video about them shutting down. Really cool to see someone meld the two so well together. I think I actually wanted to try the solid wash bar, but then forgot about it because they were shutting down. Also if I recall Holly with a Y at Beard octane is the same Holly from Whiskey N hardtack correct?
Yes, exactly. She is an amazing asset for beard octane behind the scenes. And I use the bearded Mack wash bar every other day. The other days I mainly rotate between DN & BO liquid washes

I like the DN gets my hair cleaner after work, but sometimes the BO just cleanses lightly. I am really interested to try the wash bar at some point. I also look forward to your video about Professor Fuzzyworths that I used to use. That is also awesome about Holly still being able to do stuff, without having the full time commitment. It was also cool to learn what Joe does when he isn't working at BO!

Did not catch the live stream of the merging of these two wonderful companies. Love Sleepwalker beard bar, and Gambling Man and am glad to hear I will be able to get my hands on more of these items. I currently have a partial bar that got too watered down in my daily driver. Gives a nice clean scent when climbing into my pickup.
My second order through Beard Mack I chose Command Mack. BUT I was torn between it and Tropical Mack. Next order, I have to try Tropical Mack after watching this review.
I'm glad someone bought the rights to Whiskey n Hardtack formulas and brought back some of the Whiskey n Hardtack scents. I always wanted to to Gamblin Man but never got around to trying it. After the Livestream I ordered the Gamblin Mack and I vam really liking it. Another scent I wanted to try but but never got around to trying was Nighthawk.i hope that in the future The Bearded Mack brings back more of the Whiskey n Hardtack scents if just a one time thing or seasonal.
Great review and have to point out than every video with Sam C has a factor of 5.76 % increase of Natural Beauty to every minute of the video. The Roaring 20s sound very appealing to me. Always looking for more "manly" scents. I have too may citrus ones and fear I might start smelling like a fruit bowl. 😄Time to get those fall manly scents in my beard. Thanks for keeping it real even to the Piont of sharing the challenges of potty training. Father of four; been there.
I know it’s tough with new guidelines from FDA. But if it’s at all possible at some to try to recreate or bring back. Icebreaker and Santa’s beard would be a amazing. You’d have a instant purchase from myself.

my wife has never had any complaints kissing with mustache wax in. The only thing she has said is it smells good or it stiff. I love it in the fact it keeps hairs out of my mouth and hers as well.

Really looking forward to trying Bearded Mack! I have ravager from WnH and love it. Sleepwalker too. I think I want to try Corner Mack and I definitely am going to get a solid beard wash bar, WnH beard was was my all time favorite. I'm also curious about the butter. I wonder how it stacks up with some others out there.
I'm a big WnH and Mack fan. Was thrilled to hear Bearded Mack was taking over. Beard wash bar is an absolute game changer, and I bought my bar on launch night. I was also happy to hear the butter would be the straight WnH formula because while the old Mack formula was great, the WnH butter is just the all time very best feel for me. Ravager is just stupid good perfection. I was part of the cult of Dark Horse from WnH (a small but passionate following), but I get that it probably won't come back.
I will definitely be picking up some Bearded Mack oil & butter, but at its price point it won't be something that will be for everyday use. It's not the most expensive out there, but it's not cheap either. I love supporting great people who make quality products.
I am/was a huge fan of whiskey and hardtacks, nothing against the bearded Mack, but I just have not had the opportunity to try their products yet. One of my favorite scents of all time is the nighthawk. Any chance of that coming back? I’ll definitely be trying the roaring 20s Mack soon.
I bought some beard butter from the bearded Mac. I saw it was called full body beard butter what is that ans is it a good product.? I saw in the ingredients it said sunflower wax what is that.?

You also asked what scents did we like to be brought over, being a lover of complex scents and colognes, I would love to see gentleman mack, and devoted mack brought over, but I get that you can’t have to many different scents especially in a smaller operation, and I am sure corner mack probably is close to devoted and gentleman mack, because devoted and gentleman where similar, but also different…..I just can’t wait to find out for myself! 😀

The Classic, Log Cabin, Honorable Mack, and pretty much all their Cologne scents was my favorite, me personally would take The Bearded Mack originals before WnH my personal preference.
Loved Gamblin Mack and Sleepwalker Mack. Those are the two I got. The feel in beard after factory work was nice. The scent doesn’t last that long. Maybe 4-6 hours. Also would love to see Santa’s Beard comeback. Maybe call it Santa Mack
Would you say Ice Mack is close enough to wear with the WHT’s Ice Breaker butter? I have some of the ice breaker butter left and lately been only wearing it with unscented oil
This is definitely a bittersweet moment because my favorite 3 Bearded Mack scents (Gentleman's Mack, Honorable Mack, Devoted Mack) and my 3 favorite Whiskey-N-Hardtack scents (Nighthawk, Gentleman's Cut, Mystery Man) are all gone. I have high hopes that the future may bring some of these back.

So Dan, something about the solid beard wash bar that whiskey and hardtack had worked so perfect for my beard. its the only wash that i have ever found that made my beard happy. Whatever w&h was doing with those beard wash bars just worked so well. Heres my question, is this bar that is now coming from a different company going to be the same thing that w&h had? I dont mind the scents being different all i care about is if the ingredients that made my beard so good are still going to be the same? So is it only the scents that will be changing? I'm sure you've covered it at some point but how would you describe the consistency of their butters? I currently use both Live Bearded and Weatherbeard which are two very different consistencies. Which would you say Bearded Mack is closer to?
The first butter I ever used was Live Beardeds 1880 and it is very tacky. I assumed that all butters would be similar, but to hear that this one isn't tacky makes me want to give it a shot.
Are there specific ingredients that make some of the butters and balms tacky? Something that I can look to avoid? I love the 1880 scent, but the tackiness is a real bummer
Thanks to your recommendation, I will definitely give this butter a try next. I've got a list of about 20 balms, butters and oils that I want to buy now from various companies. I love the beard jelly oils from Bossman, I just wish their consistency was a bit thicker. That's been my go to product for a while now and it's time to start exploring a bit more. Your channel has been a fantastic guide for me. Keep up the great work

my wife has never had any complaints kissing with mustache wax in. The only thing she has said is it smells good or it stiff. I love it in the fact it keeps hairs out of my mouth and hers as well.

I think I want to try Corner Mack and I definitely am going to get a solid beard wash bar, WnH beard was was my all time favorite. I'm also curious about the butter. I'm a big WnH and Mack fan. Was thrilled to hear Bearded Mack was taking over. Beard wash bar is an absolute game changer, and I bought my bar on launch night. I was also happy to hear the butter would be the straight WnH formula because while the old Mack formula was great, the WnH butter is just the all time very best feel for me. Ravager is just stupid good perfection. I was part of the cult of Dark Horse from WnH (a small but passionate following), but I get that it probably won't come back.

For tropical scents, TS Mack has to be top 3 anywhere, if not #1. I haven't even tried the new version, but the original is fantastic.

I will definitely be picking up some Bearded Mack oil & butter, but at its price point it won't be something that will be for everyday use. It's not the most expensive out there, but it's not cheap either. I love supporting great people who make quality products.

One of my favorite scents of all time is the nighthawk. Any chance of that coming back? I’ll definitely be trying the roaring 20s Mack soon.

I bought some beard butter from the bearded Mac. I saw it was called full body beard butter what is that ans is it a good product.? I saw in the ingredients it said sunflower wax what is that.?
Just a plant alternative version of beeswax. It’s a great product!

You may have to go from sad walrus to sad whaler some day. 🤣 My only disappointment was I was laid off from work a couple weeks before the launch so I have to wait until I am more financially back on my feet to try them, but I am so excited and really look forward to trying the corner mack, and sleepwalker mack. (I believe I may have asked on the livestream, but what is the difference between the Wn’H sleepwalker and the new one?) You also asked what scents did we like to be brought over, being a lover of complex scents and colognes, I would love to see gentleman mack, and devoted mack brought over, but I get that you can’t have to many different scents especially in a smaller operation, and I am sure corner mack probably is close to devoted and gentleman mack, because devoted and gentleman where similar, but also different…..I just can’t wait to find out for myself! 😀

The Classic, Log Cabin, Honorable Mack, and pretty much all their Cologne scents was my favorite, me personally would take The Bearded Mack originals before WnH my personal preference.

Loved Gamblin Mack and Sleepwalker Mack. Those are the two I got. The feel in beard after factory work was nice. The scent doesn’t last that long. Maybe 4-6 hours. Also would love to see Santa’s Beard comeback. Maybe call it Santa Mack

Would you say Ice Mack is close enough to wear with the WHT’s Ice Breaker butter? I have some of the ice breaker butter left and lately been only wearing it with unscented oil
This is definitely a bittersweet moment because my favorite 3 Bearded Mack scents (Gentleman's Mack, Honorable Mack, Devoted Mack) and my 3 favorite Whiskey-N-Hardtack scents (Nighthawk, Gentleman's Cut, Mystery Man) are all gone. I have high hopes that the future may bring some of these back.

So Dan, something about the solid beard wash bar that whiskey and hardtack had worked so perfect for my beard. its the only wash that i have ever found that made my beard happy. Whatever w&h was doing with those beard wash bars just worked so well. Heres my question, is this bar that is now coming from a different company going to be the same thing that w&h had? I dont mind the scents being different all i care about is if the ingredients that made my beard so good are still going to be the same? So is it only the scents that will be changing? I'm sure you've covered it at some point but how would you describe the consistency of their butters? I currently use both Live Bearded and Weatherbeard which are two very different consistencies. Which would you say Bearded Mack is closer to?
Truly a perfect medium between the two. Not as light as WeatherBeard but not as tacky as livebearded
What do you think of the oil in comparison to the old WnH oil?
It’s thinner so very different but truly equally as quality and awesome
The first butter I ever used was Live Beardeds 1880 and it is very tacky. I assumed that all butters would be similar, but to hear that this one isn't tacky makes me want to give it a shot.
This butter isn't the lightest on the market but it is fantastic! Far less tacky than livebearded
Are there specific ingredients that make some of the butters and balms tacky? Something that I can look to avoid? I love the 1880 scent, but the tackiness is a real bummer

Thanks to your recommendation, I will definitely give this butter a try next. I've got a list of about 20 balms, butters and oils that I want to buy now from various companies. I love the beard jelly oils from Bossman, I just wish their consistency was a bit thicker. That's been my go to product for a while now and it's time to start exploring a bit more. Your channel has been a fantastic guide for me. Keep up the great work
