Honestly fear and hunger 3 taking place in the 2000's or whatever would be awesome. In fact I've been brainstorming my own idea for a game inspired by it that takes place in the 50s or 60s to use imagery of the cold War, spy media, rock n roll and the days when American towns were cool with hosing their kids down with pesticides like DDT
The original Pulse and Anxiety soundtrack has the static noise in the background of heartbeat noises, implying that there are sounds out there we cannot comprehend. I like the fact that adding a beat to the music also implies that we're starting to understand what's behind the curtain, not only feeling fear but also hope of winning whatever you're fighting against.

Wait chanting is not part of the original track but I didn't add it in the daw. It's there because I couldn't make up anything better than recording my screen during a bossfight where Pulse and Anxiety plays to get a sample of it. And the easiest way was to enter the Gro-goroth fight since I didn't have any save that would be as close to a boss as that save was to Gro-goroth. And Gro-goroth whispers in the beginning of the battle which plays priest chanting sfx.

All of these can be destroyed. V1 refuses to use the same weapon 2 in a row unless it has no other choice. The Marksman pistol triggers a coinflip attack, but regardless of what you picked, if you didn't guard beforehand, the coin will be shot out of the air by V1, and will headshot and instakill 1 random party member. The Sawed on Shotgun can be used as both a melee attack by V1, taking off 1 limb of a party member, or as a ranged attack, shooting the whole of the person for great damage. The Sawblade Launcher Attractor is used in two phases. The first is it launches a magnetic pole near 1 party member.
