I'm having a problem in my mixing, in that it says my master volume is too high in the red zone (meaning clipping) but my track itself is not loud enough but i am struggling to make it louder without staying in this red zone. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Add a limiter on the Master bus. You can also add some sort of metering plugins at the very end to gauge your RMS, TP, & Loudness info for your project.
