  • Decided to wet a line with my neighbor Jeff. We had many fish on the line, but none that wanted to be on camera. We did get to the lake a little late in the day.

Wow! That is such a beautiful lake. Getting to fish there makes it even better.

Definitely a hidden gem. It helps that there really isn't any signage pointing you to the lake.

Nice lake. Not always about catching fish.. but rather cleaning off city life.

You got it! I have had some memorable days on the water where there were little to no fish on the line, but the surroundings and the wildlife made it worth it.

Thank you! That must be nice. We had attempted the Sheep River a few times this year, but by time we arrive, it's always high and dirty. We're hoping to film on the sheep later this year.

Little bit of rain never hurt anyone. What was the biggest? No lunkers?

The biggest was about 20". I believe my dad had the bigger one. Rain just keeps everyone else off the lake. Lol

    that’s a nice spot.
I wonder who would be responsible for that dock??
Too bad it’s not complete, someone will probably get hurt walking g around there..

From what I was told, some of the volunteers had begun "renovating" the dock a few weeks before we arrived. Guess they fell behind. I will go back toward the end of the season and see if anything has changed.

Yes sir! You can also watch me tie the Midnight Fire in the Fly Tying Playlist. But you're absolutely right, I will start showing more of the flies I use in each episode! Still learning.
