I’d say when it gets hot and cools down fast is because the thermostat is opening up and your low on fluid. When he filled it up he didn’t let it run and heat up so the thermostat would open and you could’ve added more fluid. Car seems to run a 110% better and thats a fact💯 I’m gonna have to bring the 6.0 swapped Colorado down when I get the turbos finished and let Ben line the tune out. I tried to talk him into Holley but he went Fuel Tech and I know nothing about it🤦♂️🤦♂️ I guess a tune is a tune I just don’t get their software even tho people say it’s about like Holley, well... ahhh, it’s NOT😡 Y’all know anything about the fuel tech bs Job gn Doc??
That's why I install a timing pointer on my ls builds. I always check it mechanically to verify the PCM timing is accurate.

Are F body's more a pain to build and work on than G BODY'S? WHICH is more efficient when working on as well as building for Horses? Suspension Ups, Computer setups, and overall build w/o anialating budget, and which has best capability to be consistent racer and not consistent pain in your life... Especially a vehicle of this nature as a build. Thanks for vids. Appreciate you. -RBG

I still have mine 28 years later 100% original 120k miles on it nothing even the optispark even had to get changed ever. just some oil break pads spark plugs and a battery terminal screw. runs like I just bought it still. I love the car just the way it is. feels torquey with the original LT1 with 3.23 gears m6. its a 1993 too the first year. so it has the cooler headlights. even the alternator is still the original. I only take it out for the summer because I live in Massachusetts so its not a winter car here. I also have the new 5th gen LT1 engine cause I got a bran new ZL1 last year. never owned an LS engine. and I also have the 1969 camaro z28 with the ZL1 427 engine. which I also love. and I have a 1987 camaro iroc Z with the L98 5.7 liter which I also love. I dont have a 2nd or 5th gen Camaro but I always thought about getting one of each just to have every generation. but my wife already thinks I am crazy.

Mine and Jason's cars are almost twins except Mines a Z28 with a VFN wide 4-1/2" extended sunoco cowl hood and my new dope ass Holeshot R3 wheels 1 piece 15x4s polished with black anodized center piece and lug nuts 15×10 3 piece black single beadlock polished barrel and black centers I'm in love withem, I couldn't afford the 1 piece 17" inch fronts they are damn near 1200 bucks a piece

On the rc cars u have to get a new piston and sleve to rebuild them u keep the same rod as long it is still in good shape

If you need more nitro cars, I have a ton of stuff. Losi with 427 motors and 2 speed
24x or 58x? 24x and aftermarket ecu don't really work well imo. 58x is way more stable and consistent from my experience.
Mark Regner 24x ms3x working perfectly.....
24x works fine just have to know how to setup trigger settings. Holley is pretty easy there compared to Haltech just due to being featureless... Lots more trigger settings to work with in Haltech.

You say oh go check out rc stuff on last nasty and nothing in 3weeks and you just pinch the sleeve back down on the nitro they don’t have rings I don’t know a lot about ls stuff but everything about traxxas stuff and spray wd40 on your a arms and shock towers and let it sit for ten min and wipe off the access and all your stuff will flex instead of just break when your out goofing off with them it only works on traxxas plastics don’t know why but it works try it and you tell me if it works or not
The rc engines don't have rings. Lol. They d ont like more than 30% nitro. Even with that you need a cooler plug, and add a head shim to reduce compression..
@@JohnDocNot lies.. I raced nitro rc for years. . You need to do some research.. that high nitro content fuel is for Heli's and such.. Rings on a nitro rc engine, lol. Ever have one apart?
@@bradleyslusser2279 many Nitro RC engines have rings. My OS 55 hyper heli engine has a ring and it loves 30% Nitro
@@dannysimon2320 Correct. But Traxxas 2.5's and 3.3 which I'm sure is what are in his trucks do not have rings. And running a hot plug and then removing a head shim running 60/70% nitro is not correct.. And in all my years racing nitro rc. I've never seen a .12-.28 nitro car or truck engine have rings.
@@bradleyslusser2279 I agree with you on the high Nitro . All he is doing is ruining the piston to liner fit. The the Piston is matched to the liner with a lapped fit. I have had racing engines that were so tight they squeaked at top dead center. All that high Nitro did was to wear out his engines prematurely
