a good tip for whoever reads this comment. when the pack of mobs overwhelm you and it makes hitting through or around them hard to land on good ol nick. than wait till you 'almost have line of sight on him then dash into the open clearing. the mob will continue moving towards your phantom and give you plenty of room to land 2 spell throws before they regroup on you
It’s been two years, but I’ve got to say, this vid helped a lot, my first go at had to jump off the cliff as I got overwhelmed, just switching to your spell choices had me beating him with ease!
thanks a bunch, I found this fight really easy as a duo since one player can keep the number of summons down whilst the other damages nicholaus himself but in solo I just ended up overwhelmed by his minions and unable to damage him
yo this helped me a lot, and with that green shield skill he unlocks it help a lot with other bosses, i did bandit king in one try with that green shield that spawn skellys, thanks much dude
I tried killing the adds, but for some reason got beaten by them too bad. Even though I had same gear and pretty much same spells. Ended up ignoring them and kiting, in the end I was walking big circles with a horde of skeletons after me and taking shots at him when I had the opportunity. Did win, but I don't think I'll come back to this guy until I can overpower him fast.
took this guy at gear lvl 34 first attempt, didn't kill a single ad mob don't recommend that because it took longer since he hid between them but it can be done since they just slowly walk around after you
Man I've started beating guys in the farmlands and this guy is still kicking me around, I loved this info and will be trying it out soon, here's hoping I can beat him now. :D Thanks for the info! Update: Tried it this morning, with slightly better gear than in the video, and it was a breeze using your tips and advice. Thanks again!
I'm playing with my wife currently. We got stuck on this guy. The minions seem stronger for us and there is a lot more. I wonder if this has been updated to be harder recently
The game scales when there are more people around. So the fight 1v1 will be different 2v1 or 5v1 for instance. Bosses health will scale higher, and they will summon more adds
Hey how did you get that helmet? cause im level 41 and cleared nearly all the bosses but without a helmet... did you get a recipe? or pvp'd from someone?

@@ShabbyDoo I killed him thanks to your guide, before I was being too reckless and only focusing on him to try to kill him as fast as possible and that made me get killed by all his spells and the skeleton archers XD Now I'm stuck in Christine the Sun Priestess, I have already killed Tristan the Vampire hunter and he was the next one after her lmao but I can't focus on her if she keeps summoning guards and healing them and herself while I'm attacking the guards 😭😭
At 42 and till getting hammered. Don’t have all the sleep you ah e unlocked either. Actually hate this game. Also, playing on the steam deck, controls absolutely suck. 😂

You make this look so easy. I don't have that many spell thingies.
Iron weapons give you an additional weapon ability, highly suggest getting an iron if you're having issues

It's a recipe with at least the Dracula dlc. Purely cosmetic. There are a lot of head pieces to find. Tristan has a nice hat for you too..

You got this! If you're having trouble with the adds use the sword or aoe magics to clear them. Then a good spell to burst damage Nicholaus :)
