4 was great but 5 and 6 are garbage imo.
      5:
      Rachel killed off to soon
      Jamie being mute
      Loomis being completely unlikable
      Myers house being a mansion
      Man In Black
      Idiotic ending
      6.
Jamie killed off to soon and her overall treatment
      Bland and unlikable characters
      Everything involving Thorn
Paul Rudd’s awful portrayal of Tommy Doyle.

Found out a few things I didn't know, thanks! On the subject of the masks: according to Ken Horn, the producers screwed up the masks in Halloween 4. He requested the Shatner mold masks, which they provided him, but they were pink masks with white hair. Due to time constraints, they basically had to paint over the masks. So the white looks cheap and clumpy because of the rushed paint job. The way they painted them kind of washed out the detail of the mold.

The thing is, in Halloween III: Season of the Witch, does tie-into Movies I and II, in that in a bar scene on the T.V. there is a tv spot for a Movie of the Week (film at 11) like movie that is actually an in-universe based on true events, trying to cash in on the murders, something that would go on to be echoed in the scream franchise with the 'Stab 3' story in Scream III

      @idgamingfederation202 3 года назад +2

@@flightofthebumblebee9529 that has been making the fan-theories for some time now yes, when it comes to fiction I'm very accepting of explaining away things like this, cause in H3 (think the novelization picks up on this) that Michael Myers' mask was part of a batch of rejected masks by Silver Shamrock for the Season of the Witch plot. as for the scene in the bar when they are changing the channel and it stops on "The Immortal Classic Halloween" Daniel Challis (played by Tom Atkins) doesn't have any connection of the Strode murders so he wouldn't have a gut reaction to a "based on true events" movie, like say Sidney Prescott would with the Stab III movie. I have no proof to back up these claims, but I feel like I remember some bonus feature talking about this very thing. ruclips.net/video/9POVt19TAKg/видео.html
I also vividly recall seeing a rough cut of Freddy vs. Jason alt. ending where there is the dried Crystal Lake bed, they reach down to pick up Jason's glove, but right before they can something reaches out of the ground grabs it, and we see it dragged to hell and we have Jason and Freddy still trying to fight each other but are being held back by chains and out of the shadows we hear a voice say something along the lines of "you're in my world now boys" and it turns out to be Hellraiser's chief Cenobite The Hell Priest (aka Pinhead). It is really a very odd Mandela effect life I live, because to the best of my knowledge, those scenes were never filmed, I know they made their way into comics, but it is such a vivid memory that full-video of them.

      I didn't like 2018 tho.
Laurie being a big ol victim was insufferable for me.
Plus the final act was the most anticlimactic in horror history.
Laurie wandering around the dark with a flashlight?
      No chase?
      No final battle?
Just a flightlight and a fire?
      No no no
I'm praying Halloween Kills will be better but I have serious doubts that blumhouse can handle slashers.
They're great at ghost movies for little girls slumber parties but slashers, not so much.

And yes I agree Halloween (2018) was pretty good although I wish it incorporated 2 and 4 but good nonetheless.

I don’t like Halloween 4 or any of the sequels (discounting Halloween 3) until the 2018 movie because of the brother/sister twist. I always found that twist very dumb and ruin any chance of the franchise being good. Also their some flaws in the writing of Halloween 4 such as Michael Myers discoveries he has a niece, but it’s never explain how Michael knew how old she was, what she looks like and where she live

Apparently there's rumors that Halloween H2O was still supposed to take place in the same timeline as parts 4-6 but some last minute additions or cuts were made. When I first saw it in theaters, I always figured it was connected to the earlier films because of the car that's implied Myers was driving to get back to town (an old beat up 70's car). Which was used in previous sequels.
