The turtle was actually 6 ft wide!! It was huge

Gotta say that was pretty sharky, and they looked like the shark tax was in order LOL, that one came pretty close!!!!! The water vis was insane though so clear!!!!!! Steph the huntress made some great spears nice job!!!! Would dive that water for sure! those guys are aggressive but its the ocean and you're in their house lol, what an experience to be able to see them like that, simply amazing

Wow! Absolutely love all the new underwater shots!!! Funny, Travis was holding the cool lizard dude, and then the next scene cut to an open fire BBQ. My heart jumped (Noooooo) :-) I've used Italian dressing with poultry, but never fish, I'll gotta try. I tried looking up shien, chien, (sp) sauce(?) May I ask what this is (just always looking for different ideas to cook / cook with for my kiddos). Thanks for my weekly fix of Sunday Day Dreaming!!! Gotta get to chores now:-) Wish you both the best!

Absolutely stunning under water shots. The blue water holes are a cool spot to dive from what I've seen in other video's.
And to answer Step's questions about catching dinner and you being crazy. My answer is definitely would catch and eat. And about you being CRAZY again Definitely you both are, but in a good Canadian way EH!

Is Ciguatera a concern with grouper and trigger fish where you are? I know y'all avoid barracuda but wonder about these other reef fish. You cinematography is really great these days BTW!
Grouper is a big one yep! All reef fish are but when they’re smaller (like the Queen trigger, there’s less of a chance/less toxins) some grouper are much higher risk like black and tiger groupers, the locals told us they won’t eat those
I just noticed there’s a Jibsea logo in the right hand corner of my phone screen, when I turn my phone sideways. I usually zoom in to “fill screen” so haven’t noticed yet. Very cool. 😎

What’s the difference between the sharks in the Bahamas and the sharks in French Polynesia? I was around hundreds of sharks in FP and wasn’t uncomfortable.
Are sharks in the Bahamas habituated to food provided by humans so they attack?
I’m contemplating joining some friends next year on their boat in the Bahamas.

About being in the area? Speaking to locals, other cruisers, from past experience and in reviews on anchorages
Be careful Steph n Travis, you are a long way from any medical care and I have been on your journey for quite some time.
I too am now more aware of distance/time to emergency care after an accident I had. When I was Travis's age it was something that never would have occurred to me. Some of Travis's ball busting moves make me nervous, but he does seem to pull things off with ease.
Travis i know u are from BC. FYI Fort Nelson under imminent threat by fire. Sorry.
