Great video, thanks. I have the Rocket 3 GT with bluetooth. I have everything connected but I'm having issues with volume over a headset or bluetooth earbuds. If I want to be able to control music through the thumb toggle, it also forces the music through the bike connection as well which has a much lower volume then my actual earbuds. I can switch my music to be handled through the phone to the earbuds but if there is any pause during my ride, the bike defaults back to it's connection and the volume drops. The volume controls on the bike do not work at all. I really like being able to keep my hand on the grip while changing tracks but I hope Triumph addresses the volume issue, although I guess that might require a firmware update to the module itself.
@@watchapexmedia I tried a Cardo Packtalk Bold but was not at all impressed with the speakers or the mic so I sent that back but I’ve also tried wired earbuds to my phone and also Bluetooth Beats Flex. The trouble is, the bike wants to default to its own sound output so if you start out listening to music on iPhone connected to earbuds, it sounds great and the bike can control it but if there is any pause in the music, the bike changes the sound output to its own. I also have my beats connected directly to the bike so when that default swap occurs, I still can still hear music but now the volume is much lower and the volume controls don’t work.
@@SeldarionRides It may be that I don't experience that as I no longer have my phone paired to my Sena, they always "talk" through the bike. If I need to alter the settings on the Sena, I use the PC app. It lets you configure most things via the buttons anyway. Sorry I can't provide more insight...
Hi Jack, thanks for watching. To be fair, fuel economy is not great, especially if you’re giving it the beans. I could probably eke close to 300 k’s out just cruising. If I’m out for an hour or so around my local twisties, it consumes probably a third of a tank. I don’t do two up as the missus isn’t interested at all. A lot of guys on the Facebook and Internet forums do though, the only thing you really need to sort is suspension adjustment for the weight. A few have switched to aftermarket seats for more rider and passenger comfort, but imho most of those look ordinary…
I think later Sena's have the same problem as later GoPro's - less than optimal compatibility. Like I said in the video, it should be fixable with a software update, but Triumph hasn't been forthcoming with any... Thanks for watching!
There have been a few attempts at fitting a custom fairing to it, but it looked rubbish! I am sure that like the original Rocket III we will see all manner of variants over time. Thanks for watching!
I removed my speakers and Bluetooth from my helmet and replaced it with the Motikon device that hangs around your neck with ear buds, noise suppression. I enjoy much better music than the helmet speakers that get dominated by the wind noise.
Explained well.
Thanks for that!
Distracted riding leads to accidents. I use the tachometer, speedometer, and fuel gage. ☠️

Thanks for watching! What earpiece/earbuds are you trying it with?

How many ks would you get out of a tank at normal riding and do you do much 2 up riding

Nice video. Everything worked for me except volume control to my Sena 50S

@@watchapexmedia Thanks. Keep up the good work
Triumph need to make a fixed fairing bagger based on this 🇦🇺

I have not heard of these?
How about more info?
