    Nitpick: SMS Seydlitz is the third german battlecruiser "class", but actually the fourth german battlecruiser, following "Von der Tann", "Moltke" and "Goeben".

    You state that Seydlitz only had one inch more than the previous class. It's hard not to believe that that additional inch played a part in her surviving Jutland.

    It’s easy to pronounce Kreuzer half-way correctly: croitser.
    The German R is different from the American though.
    Seydlitz would be roughly Zide-lits.

    Essentially the Germans made light battleships that cost a third more than Konig.
