- SMS Seydlitz, the third Imperial German battlecruiser, is the subject of this video. A famously tough ship that would not die. A ship that was turned to swiss cheese and came back from it.

Next on the list: P-39 Airacobra
Nitpick: SMS Seydlitz is the third german battlecruiser "class", but actually the fourth german battlecruiser, following "Von der Tann", "Moltke" and "Goeben".
You state that Seydlitz only had one inch more than the previous class. It's hard not to believe that that additional inch played a part in her surviving Jutland.
This guy here does a great job of detailing Seydlitz's Jutland damage

Its surprising how an extra inch can make a difference😄
@@garysuth7121 That's what she said, too! 😆
I greatly enjoy your posts. Keep up the good work.
It’s easy to pronounce Kreuzer half-way correctly: croitser.
The German R is different from the American though.
Seydlitz would be roughly Zide-lits.
6:37 LOL the auto-captions displayed "keel" week...which I guess was _technically correct_ since there _was_ a large gathering of keels at _Kiel_... 10:58 You keep scaring the horses!
sad end to a fine ship
Essentially the Germans made light battleships that cost a third more than Konig.
was worth it, some nations build one-hit- wonders!!
