- In today's video I am playing a TROLL level called 'boom boom's castle 3' by jojalol. Just the name of this level send shivers down my spine as my hatred for Boom Boom is deep. This is the first Jojalol level I have played and it did not disappoint!

I think it was a reference to Mean Girls. He's about the right age to have been a fan. One of the more famous quotes is "It's like I have ESPN or something. My breasts can tell when it's gonna rain"
Sometimes I think, "maybe I could make a troll level" then I see levels like these, and I reconsider
Just start small, maybe make a few Uno Mas levels first, and find places with experienced people willing to playtest and give advice (I've heard good things about CarlSagan42's Discord server in that regard). The levels showcased by major streamers/youtubers have usually been playtested by dozens of people and been revised multiple times. Talent plays a role, absolutely, but much of the quality you see is through lots of hard work and incremental improvements :)
Honestly, it seems that, like anything, anyone can do a troll level, but not anymore can do a good one.
I may seem contradictory to the other comment, but I think is your chance to show how crazy this can get in SMM2.
Maybe you just need the inspiration after that.
Play well... or in a troll level, make the players ask themselves, if they play well xD

Do it anyways. You may suck, that's normal, but eventually you'll improve. As the saying goes: practice makes better.
I think that too, and it would be nice to have a try, but what makes me reconsider is the fact that I don't even have SMM. Just enjoy watching Dave :)

Very clever as always and very much par for the course with how you didn't catch on to that "twice twice twist" at the end. Only thing about that which gets to me is how clever it is to hide your playtest exit since obviously you're supposed to win without losing from the perspective of game development.

Dave, at the "Bear Ware" part the goomba was standing on the donut block and the moving orange platform was there so it perfectly times its respawn.

What would be the greatest troll of all time would be if you got checkpoint one and you die sometime after that, go back to CP1 to see a muncher blocking the door, and a way opens to another door or a path that leads to the start and in order for the muncher to despawn is through a on/off switch on another screen before you reach CP 1.

So I've been working on a mole pee bean burrito troll level just for DGR for the last month and a half, and I'm only halfway done with it. Basically there are several rooms which alternate between mole and troll. Pick the wrong path and you get trolled with a mole
