The ingredients list says frozen margarine, and what you added seems to be room temperature margarine. Did you first thaw the margarine before using it? because it’s not possible to incorporate frozen margarine into other ingredients , let alone on its own using a wooden stick.
It’s a local South African term for fermented milk, more or less like buttermilk.You can mix normal milk with vinegar or lemon juice to achieve the same thing - just check for exact measurements on Google.
