Billie still using the same Fernandez he used to write this, and then use it to play this at their induction is one of the best things.
I feel like the crowd should have thrown mud on the stage
It’s amazing, you can see it in their faces. They’re just taking it all in. One minute you’re playing in basements, finding a place to crash at for the night, and the next you’re being inducted into the Hall of Fame. I’m sure this was a “time flies” moment for them.
Tre cool is the most consistent drummer of his time. Still playing note for note the drum parts he wrote. He masks his genius in crazy :)
Listen to that rhythm section. They’re one of the most underratedly musically proficient groups to ever get inducted. Totally deserved it.
Billie's guitar still has mud on it from Woodstock mud fight. That guitar is priceless in guitar collectors eyes.
The oldest teenagers
Leave it to mike to wear a tux with no sleeves
Hi, I am Billie Joe and I do not age
Billie Joe’s voice is an instrument. IDK how to explain that, but it is.
I was 10 when this song came out and I had a portable anti-skip cd player and a skateboard and thats all life was....simple times
I know this was 5 years ago but doing a show like this he's gotta be thinking of when they wrote this and how far they came
the guitar intro to this song is just too epic and unforgettable.
One of the most consistant bands of their era

I'm an early wave baby-boomer, coming of age on the Beatles, the Stones, Bob Dylan, Hendrix, Momas and Papas, James Taylor, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, et al. But I'm a big fan of Green Day. Love those amazing guitar riffs, the drumming and the beautiful melodies that float atop all of it.
I know this was 5 years ago, but he still looks like a teenager, even today.

Amazing... My youth dream. Three friends making a rock band, reaching the immortality. I'm 39 already, time flies by, but thanks to these guys, I had the best times of my life listening to they're music. I'm a huge fan, just regret I will never have the chance to thank them personally.
Green Day is like the only band that got really good at playing there songs over time. I never understood why veteran bands seem to miss it.
