I have had the B100C for about a year. Produces the sweetest bass tones of any (out of many) bass amps I've had over the past 50 years.

Amp sounds great, And thanks for not slapping the crap out of the bass. I get so tired of demos where they just try to show off. I just want to hear the amp. Will be getting acoustic amps in the future when I need bigger than the Acoustic B30 I have now.

I did try the Acoustic b300c and really liked the way it filled the room, it also had a nice amount of low end that was warm and round. I had it set flat at 12 noon....and it was solid all the way, right out of the gate. I didn't have to add anything, it had great tone, and was nice and loud, the speaker took everything the amp was pushing out without bottoming out!!!! Well done Gentlemen!!!!

That sounds fantastic! Definitely compelling to buy.
I have to say, that was such a great demo. One of the best structured bass amp demos I’ve ever seen. It’s vital to talk about the bass being used. But more importantly, you kept it simple going from overdrive to notable tone uses. Perfect.

Hi, I recently noticed that there´s a new bass preamp made by you, guys (BPDI, I think). So far, I can´t find any review video in RUclips. I have downloaded the manual to check the specs and that made me interested in this new pedal. I currently have a Harke Bass Attack 2 and an Eden WTDI and previously owned an Ampeg SCRI-DI. In theory, this new Acoustic pedal has everything i would need for a preamp DI pedal.
Could I say, since the controls seem to be the same, that this would be the sound coming out of this new pedal? Are the eq knobs voiced the same? Are there any plans of displaying this pedal on a video like this?
Thanks in advance for the reply

Yes the classic's are a step in the right direction if you want to stay in bussiness.

No one explains the notch control properly. It is not an on/off switch. It alters the *shape*. This circuit is ALWAYS ON. This makes it impossible to set this amp "flat".I want to love it, but the only way I can use it properly is to bypass the preamp with the effects return (which rudely disables the master Volume knob).

Let's not forget the 408 only this time lets have that as a neo cabinet.

Sweet! Now how about a nice ported 371 neo folded horn cab. Light, powerful and will sell better than your 810 mkll. Let me test it for you!

Who told the bass manufacturers that us, bass players, fancy distortion. It's a preposterous idea which also cost money to implement. They should have applied those resources to add a more valuable effect like a comp, chorus or reverb.

I bet it'd cost a lot more to add a reverb or chorus effect. Distortion circuits are dirt cheap to make, which is why nearly every combo amp has one

@@barnsnoble7066 Yeah, true. As a bass player I've been fighting to avoid distortion since I started playing back in the 70s and now it's offered as a desirable feature! Go figure.

@@videoninja2512 That's why I have a dedicated distortion pedal for my guitars/bass if I really want it. Most bass parts really don't use distortion (country/western, classic rock, college, etc.). Most (not all!) bass players leave the distortion to the guitar players. :-)

For Pete's sake!!!!!!! Stop the madness! Move the mic from in front of the amp. Unplug the other amps in the background. Follow the cord from the "MIC!!!!!!!!!" and let us "THEN" hear the "COMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ------ (PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i love it when the guy playing bass in the demo plays in a way that no one plays bass.
