She came running over all excited to tell me she has seen a hummingbird for the first time. She was all excitedly like "it was here and there so fast. And then it was gone".... and then she died two days later unexpectedly. Every time I see a hummingbird, I think of her now. She was here.... and so beautiful and vibrant and always on the go, and then she was gone from our lives. But even all these years later (I'm now 43) She's still on my mind every day. My childhood best friend showed up one day at my house and was the best surprise ever. We kept in touch for about 6 months then one morning I received a call from his wife. I then found out that he passed away and still to this day I dearly miss him. I Always mentioned to him that when we retire that we would go boating and enjoy fine cigars and talk about are younger days. Well that is a dream that will never happen.
Thank GOD that somebody thought that this relationship was worth nurturing with a cross country trip for this special reunion 🫂! I hope that these friends will be able to stay in touch with each other hereafter! I have a similar problem, like I have a couple of friends, but I always end up ruining the friendship somehow or I become "friends" with the wrong people, causing me to get problems from it. Recently I ended a friendship between a guy and myself because he never cared about me and was always talking about me to his little sister and his little sister told my little sister who told me and that's when I ended the friendship between myself and him. It will be 4 months since I ended the year-long friendship on March 1. Now that I have ended the friendship, I have been able to focus on my school work and other stuff and less on him. Luckily, I have 2 other friends (one of them is a virtual friend, and the other is across the state from me) who were able to help me fight through the emotions after ending the friendship. As I was typing up the message to end the friendship between that friend and I, I was crying into my phone because it was my first time ending a friendship and I'm almost at the age that I will be classified as an adult, and I'm an extremely emotional person which made it even harder. I told him that I'm done with his bullcrap and I don't want him to even try to come back to me or even talk to me and I also warned him that I will figure out a way to hurt him in defense if he were to try and do anything to me.

I try to reunite with my friends .. it wasn't the best experience.. as people get older, most change😢😓 .. especially most men now have a super controlling wives
My childhood best friend showed up one day at my house and was the best surprise ever. We kept in touch for about 6 months then one morning I received a call from his wife. I then found out that he passed away and still to this day I dearly miss him. I Always mentioned to him that when we retire that we would go boating and enjoy fine cigars and talk about are younger days. Well that is a dream that will never happen.

I am 13 and I can feel your pain. I have "friends" but not true ones. They just talk behind my back and when they have a better person to hang out with they just leave me, like, 🙁 it's really sad. But we moved away 7 months ago and we don't live closer to them anymore and I don't have friends here. At my childhood home. 😕
I have a similar problem, like I have a couple of friends, but I always end up ruining the friendship somehow or I become "friends" with the wrong people, causing me to get problems from it. Recently I ended a friendship between a guy and myself because he never cared about me and was always talking about me to his little sister and his little sister told my little sister who told me and that's when I ended the friendship between myself and him. It will be 4 months since I ended the year-long friendship on March 1. Now that I have ended the friendship, I have been able to focus on my school work and other stuff and less on him. Luckily, I have 2 other friends (one of them is a virtual friend, and the other is across the state from me) who were able to help me fight through the emotions after ending the friendship. As I was typing up the message to end the friendship between that friend and I, I was crying into my phone because it was my first time ending a friendship and I'm almost at the age that I will be classified as an adult, and I'm an extremely emotional person which made it even harder. I told him that I'm done with his bullcrap and I don't want him to even try to come back to me or even talk to me and I also warned him that I will figure out a way to hurt him in defense if he were to try and do anything to me.
