How do you find it compared to the Unpleasant Surprise? I was set on the US after comparing at least 50+ gnarly gated Velcro fuzzes....until I came across this video!
@@steepmike7872 That's what it sounds like to me from the demos, so it should cover US territory and also be perhaps more versatile. Cheers for the reply.
It has a lot of gain and dirt and it's versatile... But it's not really my thing. I like more the dark and heavy sounds with a low octave and a bit more definition in the tones. I was on the website and I like the Civil Math and the Part Garden. These pedals could be sound great with my baritone. 🤘
As fellow baritone lover I highly recommend the Dunn Effects Green Priest. Others I love are the Black Arts Pharoah & Abominable Demon Lung. Spaceman & Fuzzrocious pedals also work very well with baritone.
I dont think there must be a comparison of this pedal to the Life one. 2 totally different sounding pedals. Also this thing isnt gonna cut it in a band context imho. Good for experimentation though. Cheers man
If I can't get a killer sound with everything at noon, it goes back in the box ( I don't like a lot of knobs and switched when it comes to dirt - I like to spend my time creating, not twiddling knobs 🤘🎸💥
I’m going to be honest, there are not many tones I like out of this pedal. The “laser” tones in particular sound awful to me. There’s a lot of amazing fuzz, distortion, overdrive, and boost pedals out there, but I don’t think this is one of them.
Fantastic 🤘
I dunno why I would forget my life pedal but this sounds amazing
"The glitchy fuzz is strong with this one" - I think Yoda said that
Maybe is one of the gnarliest fuzzes out there. I use this for doom and sludge a lot. Love it. Alec knows what he's doing.
I like hearing this !

@@bep86 maybe has a wider range of sounds. From spit and velcro to huge and blown out. It is kind of a design a fuzz if you really dive into it.

That's why the Life Pedal is classic, simple Rat controls with a boost. This pedal is a whole different beast and sounds killer once you figure it out
Yes yes yes!
Let’s go !!!
I don't understand your comparison of the LIVE pedal if it has nothing to do with each other. To me they are completely different tonally speaking.
Oh heck yes, this thing is beastlyyyy 🥲
Sounds massive!
Awesome!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s a big sounding fuzz . Thanks for checking this one out Troy 🤘🏻
Good lord, that's massive!
Sounds great. I would definitely be interested if I didn't already have a bunch of pedals that do the same thing.
Absolutely Badass!!
@@benjaminbrown9301 glad you like it .
Oh good Lord, I absolutely need this pedal...
Nice !! I have to say the price point on these are awesome .
@@FuzzedDronesYeah man! Just as it should be. $300 fuzz pedals are the biggest ripoff in the world
Sound good too me
Glad you’re digging it . Thanks for checking it out 🤘🏻.

@@nicholasrella6904 Thank you for this information! I will have a look!
Ray gun for sure! My hair is standing on end. Has some unique tones for sure.
It definitely took me by surprise in the best way possible !

Woah.
Yeah this thing gets nasty very quickly 🤘🏻
@@FuzzedDrones We have that in common. 😅
TRY THE VERSION 5 OF THE SUNN /LIFE IT IS SOO MUCH BETTER THAN VERSION 3.i really really dig it.BUT THIS CREATURE SOUNDS FUZZY WHAT IS FUZZY.
I've got a Life pedal MkII clone handmade by Frank The Anvil FX that's freakin incredible. Paid $90 for it.
Nice not familiar with anvil . But sounds like a great deal .
Title says “Forget the Life Pedal”
But I literally just bought the Life Pedal!!! 😩
@@Suthrnfried you can always have both 🤪
!!!!!!

What guitar are you using?
Grzenia Jagerin
Hmmm. Definitely some tones I dig but overall not feeling this one. Not every pedal is for everyone.

More than plenty of gain and dirt, but not much note articulation in the pick attack at all. Def not my cup of tea.
