    I knew and played sax with Clarence Clemons (on his albums and live shows), and I'll always love his sound and what he did for music, with Bruce Springsteen and on his own. Along with the late great King Curtis, Gene "Daddy G" Barge was another huge influence on Clarence. . . just listen to his sound!

    Daddy G is a true musical legend. I grew up listening to his wailing tenor saxophone. Long live Daddy G!

      Hi Gina! I just found this clip of your Dad. If you remember Maurice that used to come by you guys house and work on music with your Dad then you may remember me too. I'm Maurice's youngest daughter lol.

    Daddy G is awesome and has a sound all his own! He's also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet....a true legend of rock 'n roll! Go see him if you get a chance!

    this would be better if you took out the background music so we can focus on the conversation
