  • The one where we outmaneuver rather than outgun the Remnants.
    Note that this is (very slightly) modded gameplay; due to what you see in my previous video, the ship is unusable without editing the file microburn.system in /data/shipsystems to have flameOutOnImpactChance of 0, because it may randomly die due to a plasma burn flameout just moving around allies. I tried for a couple of days without the edit and made it to the final Radiants, but the ship without the edit is completely unreliable and there's nothing you can do about it, so I made that change. I also reported it to Alex on the suggestions forum and he said he is changing it so that friendly collisions no longer trigger flameouts, so what you see here is essentially next version gameplay.
    This was not the hardest fight - it was a first try win when I had the build down, although I had a lot of Odyssey practice from previous builds; but the build itself took me several days to figure out. Some other things I tried were S-Expanded mags-2x APL-IRPL, Pilum loadouts, HSA+2x Tachyon+TL, Plasma + TL, different fighter setups including Warthog, Warthog+Flash, Broadsword+Flash, 2x Sarissa...
    Enjoy the show. .96-Rc10 vanilla normal difficulty, graphics mods and Detailed Combat Results only, other than the tweak I mentioned above.
