Spending your lifes savings so you can buy a single ingredient only after haggling on the hardest available difficulty just to complete a single quest for 75 xp. YEAH NO.
I was thinking of doing a suffering run, I was just waiting to get the hankering again for the game after completing it on classic. maybe I'll just do grandmaster instead.
What's the solution here? Do you still get the normal amount of flowers each day? Because you could try for an infinite loop with instant growth potions and just sell the excess to merchants for money?
@@lolzold4it's much better to sell potions (more money and experience). First few days are very rough on suffering but I enjoyed it much more than standard back when I played it
3:10 LOL fire citrine doesn't justify the costs as a "favourite ingredient" even on the lowest difficulty, crystals are stupidly expensive! you expect me to spend, what, 1k on that thing to get 5-10 extra coins???
The thing is, from my experience (I’m only on day 90) on suffering mode buying (almost) any ingredients from merchants is a waste of money and all ingredients must come from your garden this means when you unlock the ability to grow crystals, they become free and you don’t need to worry about the 1k cost that comes with them
Nice But there's no punishment for not doing the orders besides loss of fame, right? Then you could also just farm ingredients for 20 years that you can use for crafting and also level up sinces harvesting gives you mad experience Using the Plant Growth effect you can harvest every plant twice a day Newly planted ones thrice if you do it right Use only the ingredients you really have to, and sell everything else Sell only the potions you can make realiably and cheaply and save up for garden expansions and seeds, to minmax that production even more. Once you have all expansions to the garden and all ordinary skills unlocked and planted your ingredients as densely as possible, aswell as regrown them everytime, that gives you a huge amount of surplus ingredients aswell as experience points, that you can then invest in the infinite +% potion profits

Tbf,it's NOT RECCOMENDED FOR ANYONE.
The devs themselves know
finally, a joke difficulty to rival doom's nightmare mode
69 coins on 4/20 popularity was cinema
Suffering, more like masochist difficulty

This is great. Thanks for showing me to never play that difficulty :)

@lolzold4 Celeste Berry
Currently playing suffering without saving recipes >w< hehe~
Why would you do this to yourself
Some are into suffering, others are into punishing
I also like your video, and think it's pretty funny
I like how you use text to highlight what we should read. Good stuff

This is fun, I liked this.

I'm afraid you might be describing the correct way to play this mode. Its description DID warn of unreasonable amounts of grinding…
Yes. The best way is to make a 5-pip potion efficiently and mass-sell to merchants, while ignoring customers
That's the plan I'm going with, just rushing towards the enchanted geode while trying to stock pile to sell to merchants.
@@frankmckenneth9254 yeah it's not too bad once you start to snowball, but fertilizing 50 plants each day gets tedious.

Do more!
