That’s a quick load! After running the Dyna this weekend I completely understand how hard it is to get use to all the functions!! Great job👍💪👍
You just have to have your brain work in coordination with your hand, haha. Sometimes it's off lol
With strait poles and the right sized wood that’s definitely the way to go . Definitely not for tree service wood but a guy sure could send a lot of wood through that in a week . Trying to find a good supply of wood an having the room to pile it all is key though . Looks like you’re having fun Heath .
The right sized straight poles will make all the difference in efficiency! Can't wait to tackle our new piles of logs. Thanks for watching Phil!
I know the feeling,I have a Dyna sc12xp, it's definitely a game changer
Yes it is!!
Like anything we first do practice makes us efficient, keep up the good work
Thanks Brian! We'll be logging some hours on it soon enough!
You are not inexperienced. Pat yourself on the back Heath. You are very well versed in everything you do, including being a great human.❤
Thanks Kenny! I appreciate that
When you get 2 logs in the feed line try grabbing one in the clamp and then reverse the feed line to get the extra one out of the way.
That may work with the right logs.
Every splitter has a time lag between splitting and sawing.
The system needs to be redesigned, at the moment the saw drops the wood, the plunger performs and retracts and then there is inaction while the next sawing operation is performed.
The splitter is inactive for about half the operation.
Someone out there needs to find the answer where the plunger is continually fed without waiting for the next piece.
Anthony, this processor is capable of that! In this video I was running it with the manual control for the splitter instead of the push button auto split function. Once you get comfortable with this machine and use the rapid split function with the right sized log you can be dropping the next round into the splitting chamber almost as soon as the ram is retracted!

Thanks for the reason. No offence intended.
Learning curves come in all shapes, sizes, lengths, diameters, degrees of frustration, levels of difficulty etc etc etc etc. Hang in there Heath. 😅
Well said!
Coincidence... Didnt realize that you and Brad @ Firewood At The Furnace knew each other. I found both of your channels by chance. His, maybe 2 yrs ago and yours just a few mos ago. Im glad that I did. I really enjoy this sort of content. Another channel that I have learned quite a bit from is Buckin Billy.
Thank you for tuning in! Yes, we've been lucky enough to get to know Brad and call him a friend. It's a great community of like minded people.
Good splitting session 👍 Nice looking splits
Thanks 👍
See you guys Saturday
See you Saturday!
Nice vide!!! Once y'all get used to the Dyna, I see y'alls productivity increasing. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks David!
Nice piece of equipment you got. Got have your 2 hands going at once plus your brain. Take me long time to get use to that machine.😅 you done good for the first time using it. It can do alot of wood in a short time thou. Great video. See you on the next one.
You got that right!
hi nice job/ john
Thanks John
You did a good job on that Your wife runs it pretty good Herself I guess you just gotta get used to it Stay safe my friend and we'll catch you on another one
Yes, she does well on it. I just try to go too fast and then end up messing up.😂
you need to have your loading deck pulling the logs up hill a little to work better when stacking your logs. One problem with the Dynas is their loading deck doesn't have the separator arms at the chain like so many other companies use.. Adjust your loading deck support legs set down just a little lower then at the processor feed chain so the loading deck is pulling the logs up hill just a little and you will find it will work so much better.. You have a very short loading deck that you almost need to stack the logs if you are working by yourself or you need someone loading logs all the time
Thanks for the tip, I noticed this and set it up a little lower the next time and it definitely works better!
Glad to see Rachel got the day off😅 ya ya
She'd rather work than film haha!
Great video Heath. They appear to make a great processor for the price.
Thanks Dick, we really like running it
I had to drag a 40' 5" at bottom (not hard) tree off road to get home from work (it's windy here now)! then kick off sticks. Seems like something to comment, no I didn't break a nail! LOL
Well, I’m glad you didn’t break a nail
Put a 16 inch mark on the feed table from saw that way when you have a log just over 16 inches but under 32 you can cut the cookie first then drop the last round.
There are marks on the Dyna for different lengths already. You might notice me peeking forward and to the left when I'm bringing the tail end of the log through to cut it the right length.

Hey Heath, That Dyna is really nice, I hear they are pretty pricey though, but what aint these days. Cool shirts.
Very true Den, everything is pricey these days. It sure is a nice machine. Thank you.
Isn't there a button on back of the joystick for splitting?
Yes, there is. I was trying to run it manually to see the difference. It’s definitely more challenging.
Why can't you leave the clamp down as you run the log thru it looks like to me it would save a step
You can to some extent but the positive stop is affected by that control as well so it may stay retracted if that makes sense.
Save me a 3xl for Boonville
We’re not sure if we’ll make it to Boonville this year or not, but if we do, we’ll try to remember. You might have to remind us lol
It will take time to get dialed in. Go slow until you get the hang of it. Experience will build speed.
Yea I agree!
Can you bag up the saw dust to sell to chicken owners for their nest boxes? maybe it has bar oil in it, but sounds electric...well..
I’m sure there is oil in it, not sure if anyone would want it
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors The nose knows, sniff it. I think, that would be golden as a chicken owner myself, as an after market product. Eh, what's a little oile anyway.. Puts hair on your chest, to quote ,my Uncle Bill! lol
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors you can run veggie bar oil also. Some guys are using used cooking oil.
Who’s in the kitchen Dyna who’s in the kitchen Dyna Heath was but Rachel should’ve been in the kitchen 😮😊❤
Haha!
Not even close to the quality of a Canadian eastomade!!!
Dyna and Eastonmade make quality equipment.
Why do you try to pile logs in the plunger chamber when it is desiend to cut one at a time.Let your wife run the the Dyna as she is more capable and gentler on the machine"
When they are small and don’t need to be split, I just push them through. I agree she is a lot more gentle on the machine.
