8:02 had to set your drag. It was all tension on that line zero give. That was inevitable. That was a solid 18"-20" fish. Gonna keep watching now. Lol.
Thanks CC; I was just watching the video you and Charles did last year out at the Mayport Jetties catching those Bull Reds and y’all had your lines all tangled up. That’s realistic fishing right there 😄🎣 Those sheepshead have been a thorn in my side for a while but I’m getting it down and learning. I’m hoping I’ll be able to hook into a snook and tarpon this year. Tight lines CC 👍🎣
Another great video! This should really help people better understand how to detect a Sheep bite and start landing more fish. Hope to see some of you guys at El Cheapo this year! #MilesAwayFishing
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish Didn’t know that. I’ve heard a few guys tell me that lately. A lot of cool giveaways and action there. Dude that Sheep that broke you off looked heavy. Think the leader hit the pylon?
@@MilesAwayFishing that was by far the biggest and strongest I’d ever hooked in to. Thought I could muscle him up and then he pulled and then shot around the corner and then my line snapped. I also think the drag was set to high on my reel. Lesson learned...
Awesome video. Para is a beast. Its time for me to Master this as well. Thanks!!!
Great narrating how to catch a sheepshead.
Thanks 😊
Tis' the season!!! Catch em up Captain!

Agree, had it set too tight for that big of a fish
I really like the video, I learned a lot from it.
Glad to hear that👍
Nice job Gents. Para is Duval’s sheepshead reaper!!
Thanks; yes he is 🎣🔥🔥🔥
Healthy looking sheeps, nice job!
Thanks; there’s some big ones out there 👍💥🎣🔥
Looks like you guys had fun, good job. Tight Lines.
Excellent video! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us!

Great video! Good tips. Might have to go out sometime next weekend. Have a 4 day weekend. Lol
Try during the week cause on the weekend it gets crowded out there.
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish good point! Thanks
Nice sheepshead!!!!
Good job. Do you know a good spot to catch sheepshead with no boat here in jax area?
Good job out there! I'll be doing the same tomorrow!
Good luck out there 👍 tight lines 🎣
Great Vid! Sure looks like them Sheeps pull pretty hard! I've yet to actually land one.
Man those bigger ones pull really hard.
I’m still trying to get a big one over 20 inches.
Genungs in St Augustine has live sand fleas. Anyone around here have any live ones? Great video man!!!
Thanks. Atlantic Seafood has them.
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish you're the man!
Very good video and very informative. Where did you get the sand fleas?
Atlantic Seafood (Larry Finch) has them

I don’t fish tournaments and I’m pretty sure Para doesn’t either but that could change since he’s Pro Staff now?

i went here last good friday the tide is ripping didn't catch one😢 hope i could catch my first sheeps this coming weeks
I saw someone recently catching over by Browns Creek.
The local ones should be around.
They are one of the best tasting fish for sure.
Do you charter fishing trips? My favorite target fish
I think Para is going to start but I’m just getting out there and fishing different locations in Jacksonville 🎣
Killin it!
Thanks 😊
When was this filmed? Jan 2021?
A week ago; Saturday Jan 2, 2021
It's gonna be crowded there tomorrow.
Nice video. Thanks. BTW… those are “pilings” not pylons.
What is the best tide?
Did you watch the video?
Hit it right after slack on an outgoing tide
What boat ramp is this?
Sawpit Creek
A lot of my sheepshead I catch on dead shrimp
You do? Been told fresh dead but not frozen. What are you using? Fresh dead ?
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish fresh dead
Enjoyed the Video..but anything over 20 needs to be released..noticing a big decline in Sheeps since the 'Craze" on u tube media
