yeah corner loading is not always a good idea, but it depends. Try this, place the subwoofer in the position you sit and then play something you a familiar with. Then walk around your room (sometimes better to crawl) and listen for the place that sounds the most even. Then you put the subwoofer there and your listening position should be awesome! :D

I also EQ'd some of the mid-range bass to stop any extra boomyness. This way I get nice smooth low bass which is perfect for movies. Dead spots are part of most room's physics though so there is nothing you can really do but maybe change rooms or seating positions?!

Which I guess is sort of like 2 subs being wired out of phase or something. I'm not sure really, I'm not an expert on this stuff lol
Kriss 89 without a baffle it's like My Stoner Mind said, the sound waves (specifically the ones with wavelengths longer than the diameter of the subwoofer) cancel each other out. With a baffle to offset the waves from the front and the back of the cone you can get some really great sound but because the air is no longer acting as a spring on the cone the speaker is relying completely on the motor and spiders/surround to control the cone motion. Some drivers are made specifically for open baffle setups.
I haven't tried with this amp, but with an older smaller one. I feel better knowing the amp has a fair amount of juice at it's disposal rather than relying on a rather weak (in comparison) power supply. Plus I would have to cut all the wires off, put them together etc etc
SPS, or switching power supplies like those found in standard atx based computers, are quite low in power... seasonic and corsair have 1500w psus, but even then.. that amps gotta be rated for what, 3k?, and there comes into play a serious risk when trying to wire more then one SPS... just my 2¢
I have 10 Lenovo 16.7v/2.3A chargers in parallell going into a 12v voltage regulator as my test bench. Got all the chargers for free from my school when they upgraded our computer system. works great!

The center part of the room always has the no sub-bass/deadspot then the corners were reflecting loud bass :(

my amp doesn't pick that 10hz and I know it does play 10hz from my phone. I think your mic doesn't pick that up
