Awesome! I have HTV and a heat press and wasn't thinking about using it for paintings. I tried using sign-grade Oracal 651 vinyl and it was a freaking nightmare to transfer.
i printed my word on htv with the shiny side down to cut and mirrored. When i add it to the canvas do i turn on the side i can read or the mirrored side?
i did an acrylic pour on a raised canvas and i am deathly scared to mess it up. its been drying for about 4 days now, do i spray anything on top like clear coat spray before i heat press or heat press directly onto the canvas and paint? please help lol
I saw another video where someone sprayed the entire canvas with spray glue. After it dried the 651 was applied. I had also seen someone do a reverse canvas using 651. She had a flat canvas piece to work with. Lay down the vinyl reusing HTV backing and used a heat press. She said, and it looked up close like it was melted into the canvas.
Overuse of the word “SO” , I always try to watch you tutorials but I can get past the first 3 or 4 use of the word so, it’s in every video😩 I’m sorry I really tried

What is a alcohol dry rub on a painted canvas? I tried to heat press white sparkle and the paint bled through the vinyl

That’s all great! but not everyone has a heat press like that to do this at home 🤷♀️

Could you flip the canvas over and use a regular iron on the back, or will that ruin the HTV?
Yes you can do that and it will not ruin the HTV. I have done it on a few projects that I have sold.
