I am a small time fancier in Philippines seeing your video about Belgian racing pigeon make me interest I want to follow your journey in racing pigeon good luck
Hi Dan you touched on training , and you fly North road , and you go 40 miles south with your work , many fanciers train there birds In all directions 25 miles say ,NESW . I flew the south road and I had a hen I wanted for the coming race and Naturals don't excersice like widowhood s , so when my dad was going crown green bowling I used to put her in a box and he would take her in what ever direction , all about getting miles under her belt , she new the south road so just needed some work so I didn't care what direction . She won the targeted race for me and 2nd fed . So I wouldn't hesitate taking your old birds south , may be 10miles first then gradually increase it . If they've got good heads on there shoulders it won't be a problem . Good luck Dan .
Great video, so much to like about it 😃 An entertaining road trip, a beautiful supportive family helping while you’re away, connecting with another fancier in another part of the world, stunning lofts, enjoying the tranquility of birds loft flying, and as always superb video editing. You’re winning at life mate 😁 Thanks for sharing the video and hope you enjoying the journey that is pigeon racing.
fantastic video dan! i take my hat of for the filming and editing 🤝🤝 very well done mate great to see the family all involved ............. Also great to see your trip, love to see folks helping folk out with pigeons! and great to get some ideas for your future in pigeons! i wish you the best with the birds and hope they bring you more success! 🙌
Fantastic video mate. I’ve been to lots of lofts all over Belgian and Holland some like that state of the art but also been to your more basic lofts of Willy Daniels who at the time was one of the best in the world, it’s all about the environment of the loft and keeping them healthy…and ofcourse top quality pigeons
Another brilliantly made video! Love the envolvement of all the family now includes your mum 😊 Your wife and kids did a great job for you, keep her roped in, always handy when you have to work late 😂 Will be great to follow the journey of your Belgium y birds, my bet is that the ones of Charlie will beat them.....let's wait and see.
What breed are the Belgian birds you got, and has the chap had good results with them over the years and against what kind of birdage does he normally race against?
All sorts really. The birdage ranges from a few hundred to thousands, but the quality of the birds and in particular, the professionalism (how seriously the Belgians take the sport) probably makes it difficult to compare. We'll soon see how they do 👍
@@howtotrainyourpigeon yes Dan they are deffo very pro when it comes to racing pigeons all rite, the lofts are amazing, even old lofts 30-40-50+ years old original brick, two story's high built to last with just minor adjustments over the years. Can't wait to see you're next video showing all the baby's settled in and even out tipping around the loft
Why do you need to keep new birds separated from your birds? Now I am from Horsham Pennsylvania USA and unless I am getting birds from out of the USA but why do you need to keep them apart
You know watch she did a very good job and she’s doing a very good job. You lucky you have a wife that does that mind you know what she does good and she does the best she ask us for money for anything else she’s not good, but if she hears me, she will kill me.😂😂😂😂😂😂 I have a good wife, but I would have to teacher like yours so she can help me out as well👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
Very enjoyable video Dan, Did that chap Alex give you a signed veterinary document saying all baby's where vaccinated?, If not you can get them done again when you do yours be no harm 2 them. Pity you only got one hour with Alex after such a long journey, next time try arrange a day or so visit and ask him 2 bring you on as many loft visits as possible 2 his friends as well as top Belgian flyers he is friends with, there lofts are to die for. How are all 8 little lads doing so far and you're own first rounders all good did you loose any from falling back after being Weined off ??. PS: I hope you didn't bring you're mam into the topless bar, that small writing about false advertising at the bottom is untrue, not just famous for there chocolate them Belgians 😂😂

Gotta get them all pulling their weight 😂
Really refreshing to watch, good luck with the birds. When you visit other lofts you can take away some great birds and ideas to improve your set-up.
Yeah I wish I'd done the same with my loft floor
Belgium is my favourite place to visit, best of luck with the new birds.
Amazing video. Enjoyed it. Thank you!
Another great video Dan. Interested to see how the Belgian birds perform. Did you need to do any customs paperwork to get the birds back?
Vaccine and health certificate 👍

hello sir im your new subscriber from the philippines. during winter in your place sir are your pigeons not experiencing sickness like eye colds?
Not that I know of. They're not crammed in and they're cleaned regularly. They don't come into contact with other birds in the winter either
Morning can you tell how you brought them back over what do i need to be able to drive them home thanks
