WEE HOO so!! as I was working on the sequel to this song, I took a listen to the original and went "wow! this sure sounds like my music when I first got Logic Pro x" so I decided to go ahead and remake it before I upload the sequel!! I like this version a lot more and I hope you guys do too!
edit: also I rebranded to I0LITE when I released this song (and a couple more) and I realized some time after releasing a couple songs I did Not vibe with the vibe so do not mind the different brand LOL

Something I think is cool about the lyrics is the item that the POV character is holding in the first and second meeting. First it's a violin that they're holding, which implies that they have a passion in life, and they are perhaps making the wish to improve their struggling violin skills. The second time they're holding a jug of gin, which implies that they've been driven to alcoholism by the stress put on them by the demands made by Cassandra. Its a nice subtle bit of character development

Ah, yeah, that would make sense if the song was more modern. However, as you can tell from the grammar and language ("Townsfolk" "Though, where would be the fun in that? " etc) that this song is from q much earlier time. Seeing as they didn't have the medical sophistication to safely store / transplant organs, and didn't even have the surgical knowledge of how, there would be no organs harvesting rings to go to.

This thought just came to my mind. In this song is lyric "put down your stuff and the violin" it means that some violinist was in her café. And Vane said that Jordyn from The Making Of a Chimera played violin before the chimera thing. And now my theory is that he signed the contract but wasn't able to get her the heart so she takes his instead. In their song there was a line "All these body parts even my heart come from dead remains" which to some degree proofs this. Then she had to get rid of the body but then some scientists found theirs and made it into chimera

See this is where my secret tactic of 'contract stalling' comes into play.
Step 1- Cassandra, any wish for a human heart, or she'll take mine. I also have time to pay the fee so I have a chance to do some stuff. Wish is to be able to access fictional universes at will. This is where contract stalling begins.
Step 2- Kyubey, contract taken is to be able to survive through any physical torment including the removal of my heart. This works twofold, I become a being whose sole purpose is hunting witches but also if I lose I can't be killed when good old Cass takes my heart.
Step 3- The Devil, or any fictional demon that lets me bargain away my soul for any wish. The wish would be that my soul gem never grows darker; as my only ways to 'die' are the soul gem gets too far from my body or I become a witch. This takes the 'become witch' out of the equation and like wish 1, takes a while to take effect.
Step 4- ??? Okay so to be honest I don't have an exact answer here but the idea is someone where you can trade something of great value to you for a wish. Preferably they only know how much value something is to you and not what it is. The wish is that I can live without my soul in my body with no repercussions, and the trade is my soul gem, since it's keeping me alive it's of great value to me, of course until after the deal is done after which it's too late to take back.
So to recap, I've removed all the cons and kept all the perks of being a Magical Girl, I can't die through any means, I can hop universes at will, either I defeat Cassandra in battle or she takes an organ I no longer require, I'll never die so my soul is never taken and even if it is it's no longer in my hands and because of Step 4 I dont have to worry about an eternal afterlife of agony. If I find any other wishes that I can do like maybe a blood sacrifice I can try and get Cassandra's bae back if she's forthcoming. Either way, I'm in my best scenario.

A stranger walked into Cassandra's tavern, greeted by her standard niceties. Nobody else was in, as it was eight in the morning.
"I've heard you can grant wishes," they said.
"Well, maybe," Cassandra replied with a glint in her eyes. "What were you thinking?"
"You know the village monster hunter? I'm his ex. He knows full well the zombies and dragons mean no harm and only attack in self defense. He knows the witches and vampires are people too and are as varied as humans. He knows nothing he hunts is a likely threat. He hunts for the fun of it and he's abusive as all hell. I just want his intentions to come to light."
"Huh. Most people just ask for riches," Cassandra remarked, handing the stranger the contract. "Sign this."
The stranger read it thoroughly, unnerving Cassandra a little.
"So I have to kill someone?" They asked.
"And bring me their heart, yes. But surely you hate the monster hunter enough to kill him?"
The stranger averted their eyes. "Yes, but I can't. He's stronger and smarter than me. But I know someone I can kill."
They signed the contract, took a knife from the bench, and slit their throat. Cassandra was dumbfounded. She knew this'd bring back her spouse. She'd needed a human heart, given up willingly by a human, but she didn't even need the loophole anymore. This person really wanted this man to be brought down.
