    Mum of 2 boys here! 27 months and 8 months old. I find including my eldest in everything and positivity and praise is key. We deal with quite a lot of jealousy so I make sure we have some special 1 on 1 time too.
    2 under 2 was sooooo hard but the days are getting better xx

    These are all great tips. Another one that works with my two year old is giving her a choice of two options (both options are ones that I want!!) for example “who’s nappy should we do first, yours or the baby?” and without fail she always wants to do everything first! Great content as always Shan x

    • @HomeWithShan
      @HomeWithShan  7 месяцев назад

      I love this one!! The two options is a great one for bedtime stories, pjs and stuff to get George excited about getting to choose something without it being open ended!! 👏🏼

    I've got 4 kids and at one point had a one year old 11 days later had a new born. Its hard work, but it gets so much easier! I find being easy on yourself , get out the house. Find mum friends , use the dancing fruit if you need too! Embrace the messy play , loads of snacks , it doesn't last long and when it's done you actually miss those days. Xxx

    I have a 3 year old and would love to have a second child, however we've experienced so many health issues with my daughter and I'm afraid a second one would have the same problems.
    I never actually thought about challenges about having 2 children, outside of health concerns, so I really look forward to watching your video( paused it at the very start).
    I really admired your strength and positivity with George , you had to do pretty much everything on your own. I always wondered How can she do it? Your house was clean, your skin was radiant and your hair was curled , on top of taking care of a child and working.
    I haven't followed you in a while ( sorry), so I'm new to hearing your experience with your daughter.

      Oh bless you, I hope everything is okay ♥️ nothing else matters other than their health, it puts everything into perspective doesn’t it. I hope you’re all doing well!!
      The only thing I’d say is although I try to be realistic and just my normal self on here, not everything is exactly as it may come across on a 30 mins video sometimes, the internet is just a lil snippet of life, rather than an exact true reflection! Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot ♥️

    Just became a mum of 2 under 2 a few weeks ago. I was going to message you and ask for tips 😂
    Today was the first day we had to get ready and leave the house by a certain time. You forget how long it takes to feed and wind a newborn while the other refuses to get ready and flinging food everywhere 🤦🏼‍♀️

      Ahh congratulations lovely, I hope you’re all doing really well ♥️ it’s a WILD time isn’t it, especially with having to get somewhere on a schedule!! Those first few weeks and months were brutal for me but I look back now and I’m so proud that we all did it and have come out the other side! Women are fucking incredible if you ask me!!
      My biggest thing I’d say looking back is to GIVE YOURSELF GRACE and BE PROUD OF YOURSELF everyday for everything you manage to do, however small or big!! You’re doing so much better than you allow yourself to realise ♥️
