I’ve read somewhere that Webber (original composer of the song) actually has heard this version, and really loved this. Marko’s vocals puts so much more feeling and power in to this. Marko is a living legend! Thank you for this reaction!

Andrew Lloyd Webber went further and said that this is his favorite cover of the song as they performed it the way that it should have been performed. People tend to forget that the Phantom is responsible for someone getting killed in the theater! The phantom is supposed to be sinister, and Marko plays up to it.

This song was early on the setlist but at the end of the concert Tarja's voice still sounds the same... not tired at all.
Floor and Tarja has sang together. And yes, Tarja's and Floor's voices sounded amazing together. They mix so well🥰
Andrew Llyod Weber who wrote the song said THIS was his favorite version!!! The contrast between Marko and Tarja's vocals created pure magic onstage. Next please show him "Planet Hell" from the same End of an Era concert

It is weird because I've been following Nightwish since Tarja was lead. Heartbroken when she left. Still, loved the Anette Era. Upset when she left. Then.... omg.... Floor arrived. I don't think there could ever be a Nightwish after Floor.
But... I thought the same when Tarja was gone. So.... who knows? Floor is beyond words.
All I know is I need Nightwish to always be around lol
@@roamthewayhome the Nightwish I fell in love with has long died. For me Floor is an ok singer, it is Tuomas's songs that changed and I do not care for the last 2 albums
of nightwish's 3 female vocalists tarja be my fav followed by floor anett did a good duet with the rasmus called october&april l love marko's voice he now has a solo career and his beard be epic and he also be a funny fella

Yes, others commented on ALW. Andrew Lloyd Weber said this was the way Phantom was intended to sound. I've heard many reactions to this piece. This is the first song I had ever heard from Nightwish and instantly sold me on the band's talent. My favorite comment about it so far comes from 'captain facebeard' who says "this is the finish cast of Phantom". It's hard to imagine anyone doing it better after seeing this.
yes please!!!! I hope you can see the entire concert but otherwise I recommend slaying the dreamer. Next year I'm going to see Tarja and Marko's show here in Argentina!!! 🤘and maybe they will make a new song.

I don't know if I've EVER heard a song this good, and boy I've heard some songs to which "masterpiece" is a weak and puny word to describe them. Like "Varpunen Jouluaamuna" (finnish folk song of sacred sadness) and Kreator - Enemy Of God (thrash metal epitome with great story of how "evil" manifests and teaches us in its own way). Big respect to Tarja and Marko and Tuomas and all from Nightwish back then, and thank you for the reaction :)

Annette is IMO best while singing Nightwish’s “Scaretale”! And Tarja is amazing in her own right but Floor has my vote every single time. Especially when she & Marko sing together!

I have listened to opera critics and opera lead sopranos who have reacted to this video, and most bypass Tarja's performance and ask who the tenor voice(Marko) is. They are amazed with his voice and can't believe they have never heard him sing before. This video performance, with Tarja, was my introduction to Nightwish. Ghost Love Score with Floor was the second video I saw. Amaranth, with Anette was the third video... all within 45 minutes. I was confused. Three different lead singers?????? That was just over 3 years ago. Nightwish is still tied with The Warning as being my all-time favorite band.
It's because, respectfully, in the field of opera, Tarja's vocals aren't anything spectacular that would stand out. And no, this isn't me dissing Tarja.
I always thought Tarja's virbrato was never under control when she was with NW. When she went solo and maybe 10 or 15 years later, she actually sounded better.@@ruma9687

This was Tarjas last performance with Nightwish (although she didn't know that till after). To hear Tarja, at her best listen to Sleeping Sun. It will always be Tarya's song.
I just had to come in and see how many hundreds of comments accused you of the cardinal sin of not introducing him with GLS from Wacken. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of law, lol.
In reality I find it refrershing when a reaction channel follows a path outside of the "approved" path for Nightwish, the only ones I watch anymore. ALthough this is becoming the Wacken GLS of the Tarja years.
