Again another review which proves that Autogefühl is the most professional and thorough review channel about vehicles on youtube and Thomas really knows his way around a car. I test drove the Mazda earlier this summer and am currently awaiting delivery in mid-october and I managed to notice exactly what Thomas pointed out related to the stability of the car on the motorway. Definitely a good car to own if you're passionate about driving while at the same time care about a lower fuel consumption and magnificent styling. From my perspective the cons include the small boot space, the infamous door closing sound which was mentioned in the previous review, lack of an armrest and a not-so-noticeable lack of rear seat space(but let's face it, very few families will consider buying this for its practicality) and that's basically it, I can't even point out more shortcomings. Overall this is a delightful small SUV with an amazingly premium feel to it in my opinion mainly targeted at single young professionals or couples which don't really love the boring look if the Honda HRV, don't have the financial ability to afford a BMW X1 or dislike the plasticy feel of the Skoda Yeti. Price is indeed a bit steep for the current market (Mine coming in at 25 000 Eur for the penultimate trim level) but well worth it. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it and had the chance to test drive it. Definitely recommended. Thanks again to the entire crew behind Autogefühl, you're the best, keep up the exellent work.
I don't know where exactly it was mentioned but I remember Thomas pointing it out. I can't really claim it's something majorly noticeable but mostly because of the vehicle type it's not as stable as an Audi A5 for example and some strong winds can surely rock it a bit. I've had the car for about 4 months now and another thing that bugs me is the mirror wind noise at speeds greater than 120 km/h but that's normal for SUVs since the mirrors are larger. Another issue I've had with the car was that the battery discharged very quickly and iStop wasn't working until I recharged it again, I haven't had any issues since then.
Autogefuhl always has the best, most informative and thorough car reviews on RUclips. I learned a lot here that wasn't mentioned on other RUclips reviews. Top class!
This is one of the finest car reviews I have ever seen. The camera panning gives a sense of 3D and the clear zooming makes things easy to see. The narration is clear and provides comprehensive coverage of all important information. Thank you for posting this high quality video.
You are welcome and I will recommend your videos to our friends. The information was valuable to us but now that we have made our decision I hope we won't need to watch any more car reviews for a few years. Good luck with your videos.
one thing i hated about the heads up display when i test drove this thing was that i didnt notice it until when i parked after, because it moved. I'm not even that tall and I didnt see anything on the display until I lowered my head a bit. Can the angle be changed a bit for taller people?
Great review as usual Thomas ! I have owned a Mazda CX-5 in the past and loved it. Very sporty design and fun to drive. Good fuel economy as well with regular grade gas. This CX-3 seems to offer much of the same style and performance in a smaller and more agile package. I was surprised to find that the grand touring trim line of the CX-3 does not include power seats. I am 6'4" tall and need the adjustments available with power seats to sit comfortably in this model. Wish Mazda would offer power seats on the top trim level of the CX-3. Thanks again for the great review !
I have this car I love it. I'm 5'1 and single so this car is perfect for my daily needs. Not much room in the backseat but my main passenger is my dog so it's fine. Good gas mileage and looks good plus better height on it give me a little more clearance than a Mazda 3
Nice and honest review again Thomas, as usual ofc :) About the car: Exterior is fine and the interior design also. Build quality is fine. But for a 30.000 euro car there are some things that can be better I guess. F.ex. only one auto window is just not done in a car that costs that much. I also noticed that there is no center armrest, which is also, in my opinion, a bit of a shame for this price and this high trim level. For 30.000 euro I would pick another car, but that's personal ofc :)
Really liking it's sharp and shapely semi-high riding stance. Simple well appointed cabin is also a plus for CX-3 ( along with 2 and MX-5 ). Do think Skoda Yeti is more in direct competition against CX-5 Thomas. Agree with petrol being better pick as overall pay-off is more appealing than with the diesel especially in that size category. Top advice and another enjoyable review Thomas.
Interesting. Only guessing, but possibly CX-5, Kuga, CR-V, even a Forester. Possibly CX-3, Moka X, Kaptor, Vitara, Renegade, HR-V, ASX. Kodiaq, Santa Fe, maybe X-Trail (Discovery Sport is far too expensive!)...?
A really good looking car, and thanks for highlighting the various interior options available Thomas, i had viewed the car at the showroom some time back, have to agree that Mazda could have made the front seats more friendly for taller drivers. Certainly not very knee friendly at the rear seats for tall drivers. Mazda should get rid of the dashboard mounted screen. Thanks for the great review Thomas.
There's no armrest for the right arm?? I'm about 6 ft tall and considering this car, but it seems too small and uncomfortable. Also, how are the comfort of the seats for long drives, and how are the tires in terms of noise? How is the brake feel? Firm? Thanks!
Paul I am same tall as you,i just test drove tonight. if you will not always drive the full four people in the car, then this car is good choice for Ur own daily use.
Hello Autogefühl, what do you prefer? the manuel shifter or the automatic for the CX-3. I previously had cars with DSG and ZF automatic shifters and those are pretty fast and seamless. How does the CX-3 compare?
I wonder if Mazda could get away with a higher quality interior (and thus a more expensive car). I think quite some people aren't willing to consider certain cars because they simply don't have the internal build quality like f.e. VW's. Not even de Mazda 6 (which I own). I would happily spend more on the car for a better internal build. For longer drives it really makes a difference. Btw, isn't it a standard thing that an ACC gets deactivated below 30 KM/h when using a manual transmission? Mazda picked 40 km/h, but that's a choice. I assume there's a reason for it to deactivate below a certain speed? Automatic transmissions do offer the option to go to 0 km/h. Not sure if this is also the case in the Mazda CX-3. But I can imagine it has something to so with changing gears...
Isn't this a Mazda 2 "crossover"? Nice test, though sometimes I don't understand what you say ("fall leather" or "claws seats") but that's part of your identity, I guess.

cx-3 looks much better, in the U.S the mazda 3 might be the better choice since its bigger, drives better, and most importantly comes with a stick on all trims.
the exterio is great but the interior still needs some pulishing, besides mazda and nissan cars are not durable these days its like car cabins are made of a mixture of paper and metal coating the slighted touch there is a bend
Of course, second or third review of mazda cx3 monstrosity, meanwhile no golf reviews on channel! Of a normal golf at least. But ye, we need reviews of vanilla cx3, because it is such an "important" car, third bestseller from mazda...
Haha, gerade gefunden. Super. In meinen Augen völlig uninteressant.
Also, think of reviewing normal trims, noone in his right mind is going to spend 30k on this obeese mazda 2...it is rather pointless to review only highest trims that double the price, especially on cars that are originally cheap...
+Autogefühl and btw its not that i am the biggest golf fan out there, its just that it a representative example how relevant should channel be. European channel and buyers deserve the most popular european car, first and foremost...
it makes no sense to review a normal Golf right now because the facelift is due. Hardly anyone would watch it and the film would be outdated in just one or two month. We ll review the Golf facelift as soon as it is out, should be end of this year I think.

+Dimitar Georgiev well observed!
So the CX3 has stability issues at highways ? at which point did Thomas said it ? I did not notice, not even in the old review.

Still you can watch some reviews for fun =)
Great job as always Thomas and Mazda has made an amazing thing with their new line of models.
thx keep following us!
Is it just me or are Mazda on a roll with styling
Best in-depth reviewer on the "net"no doubt
thanks so much !
Digging the 80s soundtrack!
Yes ! what is this song ?

As far as I remember, you can digitally move it a little bit inside this small layer
@@autogefuehl ohhhh sweet! I'll try that when I get the car soon.. thanks! Didn't expect a reply on a 7 year old video! 😁
I have this car over a year ....it has enough power and fun to drive I love it
Great music at the beginning, gonna watch the rest later but the music is spot on!
i did not understand small storage spaces and driver arm rest for a family vehicle, thank you for your review Thomas
Best review of this car by far. Great job! Keep it up.:)
+Yiwen Chang thx join more!
Getting a Mass Effect feeling from this music.
1:39-1:43 that footwork

Really good video as usual :D

Very good looking car!

thanks for the feedback Rachel!
Even the Nissan Versa has better interior design I think. Review is perfect as usual😃
Nice review.
I really like the music in. Is like soundtracks found 80s/90s action movies :))
thanks m8 =)
Very good review !
Please, what is the song at 1:40 ?
Nice review.
thanks !
Nice and honest review again Thomas, as usual ofc :)

sounds like the original 'People's Car', I like that quite a bit.
Really liking it's sharp and shapely semi-high riding stance. Simple well appointed cabin is also a plus for CX-3 ( along with 2 and MX-5 ). CX-5 is more Skoda Kodiaq! Thanks for the feedback m8

You can achieve more economy if you drive 6th gear 60km/h or more. Great review as always.
thanks m8 !
+jan singh thx!
It's not just your height. I am almost 6 feet, but have short legs and a long body. I am very comfortable in mine.
no central arm rest.....why mazda ??
Beautiful car!!!
good review
+Gavin Omahoney 👍
If someone knows the music track or artist when Thomas starts driving, please let me know!
Nice little car. The white upholstery is ruining the interior for me. Maybe there are different trim levels available.
There's no armrest for the right arm?? I'm about 6 ft tall and considering this car, but it seems too small and uncomfortable. Also, how are the comfort of the seats for long drives, and how are the tires in terms of noise? How is the brake feel? Firm?

automatic is more relaxed :)
whats the 80's song used please?
Hello Thomas , your videos are great care only whether filming and video clips in the German Language.Thank you
+Goran Uzur 👌
Still waiting for this car to be launched in Indonesia :'(
+Autogefühl last year Toyota facelifted Avensis, are you planning to review Toyota Avensis?
not scheduled yet, but at least we could deliver you a lot of Toyotas lately - seen rav4, prius & mirai ?
Indeed I saw those reviews - really great. But still looking forward for Avensis (petrol would be great) and new C-HR :-)

Good review but there were some small mistakes with your english. 3:32 same size *as* the Normal segment not *than* ;)
Nice car,nice review..
If you are comfortable in cx-3, i will be ,too.
Because we are same length :)
great, thanks =)
No armrest? That would be a deal breaker for me.
for me too. big ( - ) for the cx3.
must be a fat ass
Car feeling wäre das nicht richtig in Englisch

I like this car but in America pricing is so close to the cx5. Tricky choice.
cx-3 looks much better, in the U.S the mazda 3 might be the better choice since its bigger, drives better, and most importantly comes with a stick on all trims.
bella machina me piace..
No sunroof or panorama roof option is disturbing in this day and age, particularly with a car like this. That alone would keep me from ever buying it.
Mazda should consider Indian market
@12:20 Lol still better than a Mclaren GPS
sorry but looked at both and the new chr leaves this for dead !!
the exterio is great but the interior still needs some pulishing, besides mazda and nissan cars are not durable these days its like car cabins are made of a mixture of paper and metal coating the slighted touch there is a bend
