Thank you 110 Industries and SOLEIL for the Early and FREE copy of Wanted Dead Wanted: Dead is a new hybrid slasher/shooter from the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. The game follows a week in life of the Zombie Unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad on a mission to uncover a major corporate conspiracy. Play as Lt. Hannah Stone, a hardboiled Hong Kong cop, and plow through mercenaries, gang members and private military contractors in a spectacular cyberpunk adventure.
Yeah you were pretty generous with the score. I'd actually score it lower. The number of crashes I had on level 4 were annoying. And as far as I could tell I couldn't remap buttons at all in game. They kept reverting after death or crash. But surprisingly the PS5 remap button setting worked after re-activating it each time. I definitely wouldn't recommend picking it up for $60 at all. But $10-15? Yeah. It is fun. Just definitely not $60 fun imo
The first review that I see that is on point. Had to refund Wanted Dead! This ain´t it. Characters are flat, gameplay felt unpolished and the whole experience didn´t come together...sadly
It's a fun time if you grew up with PS2 era action games, but price tag on it is waaaaay to high. For $30 or maybe even $40 I'd say "consider it if you don't mind janky animations and out of date action that throws you back two console generations back", but $60 is just too much for me to reccomend this game with clear conscience. It's fun and doesn't give a single fuck about modern trends, wich is both blessing and the curse. Everything comes down to "are you willing to embrace 2004 game in 2023?".
all i can say is, if you are a small studio releasing an AA game.. make sure that it does few things, but it does them RIGHT. Like SIFU did. That game takes on too much at once and is mid to bad in all of them. Like, why is the cover shooting even in the game, really? The game looks and plays MUCH worse than Revengeance, and lacks any of the iconic story, characters and soundtrack. If you cant even compete against a 10 years old game in your genre, why even try?

Most typically to avoid spoilers people stop at the general idea of your opening - ie (general idea) you play as X gal with X guys of blank organization that then goes up against Y organization, then keep things as simple as possible like then things as always go wrong dun dun dun -> without saying at all what those things are.. Honestly only watched some of this one as off chance I wanted too play it (and not have entire plot told and shown too me ruining it) I watched a good review and yaa not my type of game and quality seems lacking any ways.
@@KhunShawn Ya incapable of reviewing and taking critique guy, who will never get better because of it. Though suppose thankfully as RUclips has enough people who do at least basic quality reviewing and don't need to risk any of the 1000s that are better, being buried even a inch by bad people like you. "It Seems" non-stop, but it IS done . and only reason had to say "it seems" was because how basic at best it was and again more so because how filled with Spoilers you were being with it to continue risk watching more (or even want to). I mean I know you will never have common sense or again learn / grow in person or reviewing. But when someone say... opens a review with Anakin becomes Vader who is luke's dad and will redeem himself in the end/ Aragon will become king and ge tlong dead "betrayer" ghosts to save Minas Tirith just in time, the fight club/prison island detective/etc... is all in the guy's head, the killer is the old man in the hospital, xyz people will all die, etc... then its already passed the point of damage and to continue watching or ever asking that person what they thought of something you never seen anything on before.. well you would have too be even more "special" then the person telling you it. So keep doing bad reviews and never learning or taking critique or anything thank you.

Younger players and reviews tend to forget what Games are about. Game play how, how fun it is, and the concept.

The animation is strangely stiff for the era. The main character looks like she was made by that Real Girl adult doll company.

my fav genre of games, I was really hoping this would be at least a 7 or 8, I may still pick it up because of my love for Ninja Gaiden 2

The first time I heard this Felon Cop sorta story was Cyber City Oedo 808, a 90's anime with 90's level swear translations. 3 episodes of good times.

The combat is mind-blowing but the story is pretty bad. I just skip cutscenes and get to the good part.
