CUMBRES & TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD - A Very Windy Day AT Big Horn

- It's mid-June on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, and the Three-Foot Films two-man crew is waiting for class K27 locomotive number four six three at the head of train two 15 on its daily run from Antonito, Colorado to Chama, New Mexico.
It's windy, in fact, so windy that the crew's tripods had to be anchored to the ground using rather large rocks.
Nice work! Not too windy for the drone, though.
Thanks, Tom. The drone was being blown about quite a bit, but the stabilisation on them is so good these days that the footage only required a little extra stabilisation in the edit. One of these days, our visits might coincide. I will be back again in mid-September.
Very nicely filmed the K27 #463 with your train on the Big Horn. Excellent work
Awesome photography, too short. 👍👍👍
Thank you. Interesting you say too short. Even at its brief running time you can tell from the info that you get from RUclips, that most people only watch around 50% of the video.

True, but I enjoyed watching. This is my favorite RR in Colorado.
