What I love about your videos is that even for a local there is always something there, I didn"t know about, for example the gorge. Really love watching your cracy little vids.

@@NearFromHome it’s pretty amazing. That area is known as the Verde Valley and it’s my favorite part of Arizona. Good wine and great hiking.

Is the cat part of the hotel's "facilities"? instant 5 star review TripAdvisor lol

Another great video - I love alpine roller coasters. Check out the one in Oberammergau as part of a day trip.

    Hi Ben & Camille,
Please check your email address neverfar@nearfromhome.com - it does not appear to be working and mails are bouncing back.
    Hi Folks,
Hope this mail finds you well. Greetings from a Semi Lock Down Dublin. I have posted a number of comments to your videos but decided to reach out directly.
I had a suggestion regarding a possible itinerary/Day trip. While I know the Garmisch Partenkirchen has been reviewed by yourself and plenty of information on other sites perhaps there is scope for one additional video this winter.
From Munich a person can buy a combined return train & ski pass ticket for 54Euro, that's great value considering a day ski pass alone is 47Euro. This allows a person to travel directly to Hausberg ski station and back again and also includes their ski pass for the day. For full details please see zugspitze.de/en/Prices/Arrival-by-bus-train/Garmisch-Ski-Ticket . The train stops within about 100m of the ski rental and lift. The ticket is available every day of the week. No car needed.
I'm not sure if you are a ski fan or not, but a trip like this could be a nice alternative allowing for travel in germany during the winter 20/21.
Hopefully the restrictions here in Dublin will lift next week.
Perhaps a beer in the alps with ye may be on the cards?
    Warm Regards
    Richie

Thanks for reaching out! We sorted out the email issue, so please resend any emails that were previously bounced back! :D Feel free to contact us there as well.
Eventhough we've both never skiied, we'll check out the Hausberg Ski station, as our normal activities become impossible because of snow. :D

Why does everyone feel the need to litter such nice and pristine countryside with these unsightly things . If you need to ride a roller coaster , go to an amusement park , ffs .

There is plenty of preserved nature around the slide. In many ways theme parks can be significantly worse for the environment than a little bit of fun here and there.
