This is back to the roots of why I love this channel. The salmon fishing, the river fishing, it's ok but nothing compares to fishing off the rocks. And realistically it's how most of us are able to go out and enjoy the sport.
Man this brought me joy!! me and my twin would watch these videos together and try to plan a trip out there to fish. Unfortunately he past away last year at 22 years old miss him. Thank you for posting these videos reminds me of when we use to watch the butter and avocado combo videos

And been watching you for years. Not consistent but I just love fishing since my mom’s firs boyfriend in the USA had took me fishing when I was young. The first time I have ever felt a father bond with someone. Hopefully soon I’ll be blessed to fish and make it a hobby of mine to distract myself from this miserable life. Tbh I just want to say thank you for these few years. You have taught me patience and consistency. Thank you so much. I wish to be in your position soon, you’re an inspiration.

Hey Matts, regulations for cabezon and greenlings are still the same. 15” minimum for cabezon and 12” minimum for greenlings for ALL management area. I had to check again after you said that haha because we just went out on Tuesday and threw back cabbies measuring just at 15”. Too close to keep. Nice video though! Thanks for sharing your setup. After a 30+ EMS career, I've finally healed from Lumbar Spine fusion surgery and moved from walking with a walker to now using a cane. God willing, when I no longer need the cane to get around, I want to take my Grandchildren fishing and with luck, catch and cook too!!

Nice , they have constantly been catching quality WSB here in Rosarito on that swimbait/jig head setup . I need to try and get me one . I normally just get snagged or bring in kelp when fishing near rocks Lol
I know this video concept would not make much money, but i feel like it would be good. All the types of knots, and how to do them, with the best case scenario. I am not much of a fishman but when i do go i really enjoy it. But there are a lot of knots i dont know and i just use what i know for all the situations. Theres a lot of lingo that would be nice but if you are ever bored and need an idea maybe that can be nice, everyone can learn something :)
I recommend get some small bottles to hold your liquid ingredients. That will save a lot of weight. And pre-cut onions, scallions, peppers, etc. and put it in a ziplock bag. Then you will never forget anything.

San Francisco region cabezon min length is 15 in and greenling is 12 in. Those rules never changed
