you don't need to add mustard powder. mustard seeds powder is usually added in Mango Pickle. This is Andhra style Pandumirapakya pachadi.you can follow this method.sorry for the delay.

actually it is kept outside only.... but you have enough space in the fridge then you can keep it in after 1 or 2 months to avoid discoloration.sorry for the delay...

Hi foodvedam...i tried this recipe with small quantity it was super..now I'm trying again with some more quantity..can i leave it out side before tempering or else it's compulsory to keep it in refrigerator...
+Fats Real don't keep in fridge.leave it out side tightly covered.it softens the tamarind layer below.but don't forget to add salt.it's the preservative.

Navya ji, achar mein utna namak nahin daale tho within a few days isko kachre ki dabbe mein daalna padega...kyonki bina namak woh pickle kharab ho jaayega.salt is the preservative for the pickle.I hope you understand.

meenakshi soni refrigerated it will last for few months for sure . Depends on the mirchi u choose , some are too watery and may not last for long .

Hi Meenakshi.Moti wali mirchi jyaada spicy nahi hota.isiliye aap tamarind thoda kum dalna hoga.if possible take thin mirchis and make it as I did.
