I lost a good 20 lives until I came here to find the vine “trick”. I was trying to beat the game without continuing, now that’s doubtful, can’t believe the game does not explain to you how to do that better.
I'm surprised none of the levels in the 2nd world have snow. You'd think a north-eastern-European setting would have snow on the mountains, especially considering the theme of the entire game is ice. But no, there's no snow.
@@pinkzebrastripes6 its alot of fun, but without the fact it hands out Lives so easily and the health bar, it would be just as hard if not more than the original SNES games.

K-leb i think it's based off of southern Germany/Switzerland/Netherlands
Yeah, I should've just said the alps, but I think north-eastern Europe could (almost) work.
Given the name of the game, I figured all of the levels would have snow/ice and that DK is working to reverse the bad weather
That ‘O’ was torture to get it kept not letting me let go of the vine and when it did it was too late.

Ok but when I let go of the vine for the ‘o’ and hit jump on the enemy, I don’t jump high enough to get back to the vine…
How come donkey kong keeps letting go of the vine when I don't take my thumb off of the button....anyone?
