A Closer Look: 2021 PNGDF Recruitment

The PNGDF hierarchy is expected to meet with the deputy Prime Minister tomorrow on the future of the Recruitment Training at Goldie.
Those enlisted in the 2021 Recruitment for the Papua New Guinea Defence Force are now caught between a directive to suspend training or continue awaiting further directives from the PNGDF Hierarchy.
The news on the removal of 166 recruits on 14th of September has captured the attention of the Prime Minister, who responded in a Letter to PNGDF hierarchy to suspend training at Goldie immediately.
In the same letter, Defence Secretary John Aikipe was also directed to appoint an external investigator to look into this matter.
