I've tried to do many experiments on that, I've found that BIS spell crit gear is better than spell hit gear on bosses. With that being said, the traditional wisdom is 16% hit cap for bosses, but in twow you only need 12% because 1% druid buff spell hit and you get 3% S hit from talents which equals the 16% spell hit you need.

Is spell pene best for ele shaman since curse dont work with nature? And do you know the cap?
