- We take you with us on a visit over to White Smoke which is a one-of-a-kind restaurant experience in the mountains just outside of Ehden in Mazraat el Teffeh. We had one of the most filling and delicious meals I have had. A massive BBQ that included Lebanese Tacos, Lebanese burgers, and 3 cuts of meat with my friends David and Fouad and my girlfriend @MabelleOfficial.

Tacos al pastor were created in the 1930s in Puebla, Mexico, by Lebanese immigrants who introduced the region to classic shawarma: roast lamb served on a flour tortilla or pita bread (pan árabe). This creation was originally known as tacos árabes, and used meat cooked on a vertical, or upright, grill.

I am not usually very interested in your food videos because, well, we can't taste it. But this time you really captured the ambiance that is part of the dining experience. The setting, the open air, the stone walls, the view, the sunset and the company all came across like we are there. Fantastic. Also engaging was the preparation of the meats. The cooking and carving was soothing.

Lebanon is far from being the most beautiful country but its people and the ambiance they bring make it the best. The movie made me recall when a german visiting student came to study for one year and the group took her around to enjoy Lebanon and its food. Beautiful experience away from overthinking things, just pure enjoyment for whatever is found there....Enjoy Mac
