In Brazil I watched the series War in the Arctic and almost cried with the music. Congratulations on your work. Congratulations to the Finnish people.
Was a struggle to find this after watching the documentary, trying to search by lyrics. So surprised to learn that it was made specifically for the documentary! Giving me goose bumps! I wish there was a whole album of these.

Tämä teos on itselleni osoitus siitä, mitä musiikki parhaimmillaan on. Kuuntelin kappaleen useamman kerran peräkkäin ja tätä kuunnellessa koin suurta tuskaa, mutta myös toivoa. Musiikista tuntee, miten artisti itse tuntee syvästi aihetta kohtaan ja laulaa koko sydämellään. Upeaa!

So our Estonian Public Broadcasting started to show this january "doc" and first thing blowed my mind was INTRO. I am just wondering that this song without doc would not have on me such impact and strange that it also gives to doc such powerful background! Both - well done! 1+1=3

I just had to find this song! Im taking part in one of the episodes in Untold Arctic wars. This music takes you back to senturies of suffering and sadness… highly actual in todays Europe! Im surprised it havent gor more views… but that will change when the series are sold in more countries! Blessings❤

Just watched the documentary. Noticed the theme song immediatley. Beautiful. Strong. First I thought it had to be the artist Aurora singing, but I found out it was Irene. Great performance 😀👌

Meanwhile, other wars are raging, one of them in Europe where everyone should have known better by now. But I guess fickle, shortsighted humans can't help themselves. If only everyone were forced to see, hear, smell the horrific, cruel reality that war still is and may always be. Maybe then noone would participate in it, or at least way less. I don't know, it's just very tragic that we seemingly can't end it permanently.

@@youmaycallmeirene yes it literally brought tears to my eyes, i’ve been playing it on spotify several times a day since i saw the first episode, i’ve been studying ww2 & The holocaust for 4 years now and after watching hundreds of documentaries and movies. This song was the most powerful and deep i’ve ever heard. And the message in the last verse is so important for my generation to remember. Great vocals which makes the listener really feel the ups and downs. (im just 21yrs) thank you for making this!👏🏾❤️ You got a new big fan now🤣
