Thank you for this informative video. Espalier is a very good idea to better display these beautiful flowers - it never occurred to me. How do you protect it the winter now that it’s larger? Could you leave it outdoors and wrap it up? I’m in NY zone 7a.

This variety isn't very frost hardy so when the temperature drops below - 3c (27f) I bring it into my conservatory. I keep it in a pot so I can move it when it gets cold. If you used a hardier variety then it could be kept outside year round in your climate, although the hardy varieties have smaller flowers.

Hello, bought a hardy fuschia and would like to grow in a clay pot . All my fuchsias are in the ground so Not sure how to overwinter them in a pot in London. Any tips? Many thanks. Berk.

If its a hardy fuschia such as fuchsia magellanica, it will be fine in a pot with no protection. If it's one of the large flowered hardy fuschias it will need a little protection, somewhere like a garage would be good when you get a cold spell. London doesn't get very hard frosts so for most of the winter it will be fine outside, just bring it into the garage or indoors when it's a cold snap.

Thanks, Yes I currently have two large Poinsettia plants, although they won't be looking their best this Christmas because the electric and gas prices are so high that I won't be using grow lamps on them or keeping them as warm as they like.
