I miss the past not the people but the memories.
sometimes you gotta move on, do you remember even peter pan realised it. when Wendy got old and married and had children. they both were grateful for the memories but realised that its time to move on.
moving on doesnt mean that you have to forget the past and hate it.
i believe, accepting it and facing those memories mean that you finally moved on and let them just be. let them be like mushis haha its alright if you dont know what those are, anyway the moment will come where you will be thankful for both the good and the bad moments but will be ready to see what is going to happen next.

When the class went to her funeral i didnt cry and i dont know why... everyone was tearing up and i just sat there emotionless. You know, I used to have two birds, one of them was very shy, one of them I got to eat from my hand. One day I went to feed them and I saw them sitting on the ground of the cage. I was concerned and touched one of them (the one that wasn’t as shy) so it would fly. Well it did but it was like paralyzed in mid air. I tried everything, crying I tried to feed it, nothing helped. It was my whole pride back then, I was so proud I got it to like me. When I buried it I felt nothing, my family seemed sad. I didn’t feel anything, I didnt shed tears and I haven’t over it ever since. Sometimes it’s okay to not feel even in such situations...may your friend Rest In Peace

Don’t ever compare yourself to someone that isn’t anything like you, you’re YOU and that’s all that matters. Someone loves you for who you are, you don’t have to act like someone you’re not and if you ever need someone to talk don’t be afraid to speak up to people you trust the most.
Believe in yourself, you matter the most to yourself. Your mental health doesn’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to be perfect. You’re amazing just the way you are, don’t trap yourself in your mind. You should be free, if you don’t feel comfortable with yourself then try wearing sweaters and slowly coming out of your comfort zone. It could take years, but it’s a start. Try seeing a therapist if you feel the need to, you’re never alone when it comes to things like this. Your emotions mean everything to the people around you and they should to yourself, too.
You can reflect off of your own actions and learn from them, you’re yourself and if you ever need to talk to someone I’ll always be here for you. I can link my insta/Snapchat if you need me.

i miss the old days where i was happy. where i didn’t have to feel any pain. the only pain i had was falling down during recess and scraping my knee. or getting a papercut when teachers were handing out papers. the pain i feel now is insecurity, anxiety, feeling like i’m not gonna be good enough for anyone, or even myself. i use to always say, “i cant wait to grow up” no. not anymore. i want to be a kid again. everything was good then. i didn’t think that i would have to go through what i did. i used to never think of the things i think of now. i didn’t even think that, “i have to do this in order to be considered pretty” no, i just was so carefree, doing whatever i wanted. now as i grow up, i realized society judges you a lot, and you start to judge yourself too. you’ll see a lot of pretty girls all around social media, or even just walking around in public, and you’ll start to judge yourself. “i want to look like her” no, everyone is beautiful in their own way. no one is perfect. learn how to love yourself. i’m still working on it, but know that you are good enough. you will get through it. it always works out one way or another. stay strong.
If you are looking upon yourself thinking "I used to be better" just realize that you must have expanded since you're holding both concepts at once. It will get better.

I am again missing the old me who was happy. Who used to look forward to the day, when he used to wake up and used to smile even in the gloomy days.
i miss my old friends, but i moved, my best friend from birth, my neighbor for 10 years who would do musical.lys with me, then my best friend moved to america, and my neighbor was older then em and grew up, and i moved.. i miss plying hide and seek for hours in the park, waking up early to watch sponge bob and adventure time ahah, i miss it, summer holidays, damn
I see so many people commenting here in the comments with fake depression and it really breaks my heart. Most of you never have and never will battle real depression. Almost a month ago today my best friend commit suicide, he didn't ask for help, he didn't act depressed for attention, he suffered. Really. And the difference between a person with real depression and a person with fake is that a person with real depression will almost never ask for help, or comment bullshit on a fucking RUclips video acting like they have suffered worse than anyone else. To anyone reading this who is genuinely battling your inner demons I just want you to know that no matter what your feeling now, you have people to talk to them and please ask for help, your not alone and I hope you know that. YOU are not sick but you have a sickness and it is affecting the way you think. I wish I could take that sickness away but sadly nobody can. Just know that the same with the flu or the common cold every sickness goes away and this will too, even though it seems like you will never be happy I promise you with everything in my heart that you will be one day. Life doesn't get easier, you just get stronger ;

I am not depressed but have something close to PTSD I just wish I can go back to when I wasn't scared of the ones I hold close to my heart
@@atlas3896 You may have Complex PTSD or C-PTSD, which is PTSD caused by repeated actions or abuse, if what gave you the disorder was repeated. :)
@@elianna_ecc well the worst of it was repeated twice my mom has an alcohol problem and the first time she had to go to a rehabilitation centre to get better but the second time she got drunk while me and my brother were swimming after though she started to verbally abuse us but since shes gone sober she was fine

i listened to this once, late at night. it was the first time listening to the slowed version. i was depressed, i was overtired, but i listened to it, turned off the lights in my room, and just laid there listening.
i've been wishing for stress free freedom for about a year now, because exactly a year ago i started showing signs of depression, anxiety, and began having panic attacks that would cause me to throw up, sadly.
this song made me feel free and empty for one of the few times in my life that i've been able to experience it.

I miss how I used to be so confident, quiet and a really good person, but now I just feel insecure about everything.
I feel like I'm annoying and sensitive I just feel like I'm overall just a waste.

People say I have a big forehead and just little small things about me and they don't even realize how long words could stay in a person's head how much things can really impact a person's confidence and mindset

I know suicide and harm and feelings of worthlessness cross your mind but I am proud of you for staying strong and not giving in. You're a fighter and have gotten through this before and WILL get through this again. I know sometimes you want to end it all because you feel you're family and friends will be happier but they wont they will be heart broken because they love you. You're girlfriend would be heart broken. if you ever feel like giving in just fight for them. fight for the love of you're life, fight for you're family, fight for your best friend. You have a beautiful future you just need to stay strong for a while so you are able to blossom into the amazing strong women you are. You need to stay strong so you can see that future.
