Yet your shul is attracting misogynist men who don't want to let go of their daughters and love them more than their wife and people outside your shul who have this mentality and post from your Rabbi. Also Boca Raton has always been known as having many Jews. Case in point, Michael Savage who hates his own people, would always mention Boca Raton on his show when it came to Florida in a negative way and it was a code word for Jews. Now that I am older I realize that. The Populist right already put down Boca Raton because the Jews were "too liberal".
If I was a well to do Jew and wanted a politically connected Rabbi who likes powerful people who is the token Rabbi for populist Republicans I would join this shul too. It doesn't make Jews look good and Boca Raton has always been on the map for a relatively large Jewish population. Michael Savage use to always put down Boca Raton on his talk show as I admit I one time listened to him and of course this was a code word for Jews as he dislikes his own people and put down Boca Racon as some "liberal" place in Florida. Just as replacing Democrat socialst far left ideas for Judaism in the Reform movement is not Judaism neither is replacing it with Republican populist far right ideas Judaism either. Polarizing of our own people for reasons like this are really bad and the irony is the mentality of the far right and far left are very similar and populist and socialist have similar ideas and as well MO and Reform are attracted to each other with this similar mentality and the Jews in the middle who have real ideas are being persecuted. None of this is good.
